Welcome to Captain's Oasis, the perfect vacation home for a relaxing and comfortable stay in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. This stunning property features five bedrooms and four bathrooms. With breathtaking ocean views, game room, private pool, and a private putting green in the backyard, Captain's Oasis is the perfect spot for your next family vacation, romantic getaway, or weekend retreat with friends. With four bathrooms, there's never a line for the shower, and you'll have all the space you need to get ready for a day of exploring or a night out on the town. Please note: the first floor bathroom and bedroom are accessed via the garage (game room) area with the ping pong table. There is also a door that exits to the pool from there. The spacious living area is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Sink into the comfortable couches and chairs and enjoy a movie on the large flat-screen TV. The open-plan layout flows seamlessly into the dining area and fully-equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook, dine, and entertain together. Step outside and take in the breathtaking ocean views. Enjoy a private heated pool and a putting green in the backyard of this amazing home. With plenty of seating, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, sip a cocktail, or simply bask in the Florida sunshine. This vacation home also includes a game room with a ping-pong table! The pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled. Located in the heart of St. Augustine, Captain's Oasis is just minutes away from all the best attractions, including historic landmarks, museums, restaurants, and shops. With its stunning beaches, historic landmarks, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, St. Augustine is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge your batteries. Whether you're looking to spend your days lounging on the beach, exploring the city's rich history and culture, or indulging in delicious local cuisine, St. Augustine has something for everyone. Take a stroll along the cobblestone streets of the historic district, marvel at the stunning architecture of the Castillo de San Marcos, or enjoy a day of shopping and dining in the charming downtown area. And with its warm climate and sunny skies, St. Augustine is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities year-round. Take a dip in the ocean, go for a hike in one of the nearby nature reserves, or tee off at one of the city's top-rated golf courses. Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house. Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under. The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. The house is spacious with room to spread out if needed. The pool and backyard are a great place to hang out and have fun. It is just a short walk to the large beaches that run along the Atlantic. A short walk to the beach and it also had a beautiful heated pool. Two rooms were separated by a Jack and Jill bath room but each had their own sink and mirror! This was great! The property managers were extremely quick to respond and this was very helpful considering we arrived the day after the hurricane came through. Everything was perfect. ##### Dyana B. The house is very clean and well stocked. Nice large pool. 5min easy walk to beach access. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and then the comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. This house was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and across the street from the beach. Our boys ages 8-12 loved the downstairs game room. The whole family spent every day in the pool! The functionality of the home worked perfect for our group of 8, allowing for gathering but also separation when desired. The home was clean, and the kitchen had everything required. The property manager was great to work with and responsive. The pool was perfect and heated as described. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return. The pool, beach and putting green were a hit. A few things to note. This house has many stairs.It was fine for us but we considered bringing my mom who can navigate only a few steps. FYIIt is listed,the limit on towels available. Not enough, pay attention. We had 10 people and 10 towels, 6 pool towels. Doesn’t go far with little ones present. We went out and bought more, should have packed some.We also had one ply toilet paper. Bring your own. We were a group of 3 families and had plenty of space to sleep and spread out. We were pleasantly surprised at how convenient it was to walk to the beach and the view/sounds of the ocean from the upper balcony might have been the best part. The location was wonderful... quiet and no traffic... but an easy drive to downtown and the busier areas. Everyone enjoyed the putting green in the back yard and they created their own "course" for a competition. The beds were comfortable and we all left wishing we didn't have to go back to work/school. We came back to use the pool. The pool had a water fountain that the grandchildren found fun. That afternoon the owner showed up at the door and told us to turn off the fountain we were using too much water. My adult son asked if we violated house rules and was told we were not. The next night I was texted around 9pm asking that the pool flood light be turned off as it could bother the neighbors. There was no home directly behind us so I’m not sure would have been bothered. That’s when it occurred to me the owners were watching the property. It made the rest of the stay a little unnerving. Very nice place, great pool, and beach location great. But we did not like the fact we were being watched. That’s the reason for the low rating. ##### Bruce Z.
