We misunderstood the listing as there is no direct river access. There are two “fishing” spots as you walk along the road but were too steep for our dogs. We just walked the 1/4 mile down to the bridge for our dogs to swim. Overall this cabin is gorgeous, clean, and the property was well kept and beautiful. The kitchen and dining room have everything you'd need whether you're doing the cooking or getting takeout; the living-room is comfortable and has a big tv, games, books, a massage chair and more; and the bedrooms have comfortable beds with lots of extra bedding and a generous supply of pillows. Outside is so beautiful. We had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows to make s'mores while watching the brilliant stars in the night sky.
