It is truly the definition of peace and quiet here. The cabin interior is comfortable with a large TV, and the outdoor area speaks for itself. A quick 15-minute drive to downtown Spooner to check out the shops and grab any groceries is very convenient as well. We loved looking out at the lake from the deck and even going to bed looking out at the trees and the lake. The hot tub was great at night. there were a lot of weeds and the water is very shallow near the dock, so fishing was difficult. there are nice kayaks and a paddle boat to use. the water was very clear and nice. one of the best parts, there were little to no mosquitos near the house. I think with the sandy soil there was no standing water any where near the house. There was lots of wood to have a fire and plenty of fallen branches to gather. The kitchen had everything you need. we made dinner every night we were there and didnt come across anythign we were missing. Overall the place was perfect for a quiet get away. ##### Lee F.
