The view is beautiful but if you plan on using the dock a lot please know there are 129 steps to and from. So for older visitors you have to make different arrangements to get them on and off the boats. The house is cozy with way more kitchen supplies than I could have imaged. Beds were comfortable and the lake view from the deck was great! It’s A LOT of stairs to the dock, and thankfully we brought our own life jackets and a float for the kids to use in the water. They were so severe that we ended up renting a pontoon boat to get to and from our dock. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of room and bathrooms. Gorgeous view. Nice little area to walk the dog. Our only complaint would be the lack of info regarding the stairs to the dock. They are somewhat treacherous and VERY difficult for our young active dog. We might not have brought him had we known how difficult they would be. Also had the benefit of some friends able to leave their car at the arena so not everyone had to climb up and down about 114 stairs! But would stay there again. Just a great spot. ##### kari f. Everything we needed, dishes, towels, coffee pots, washer/dryer, and other basics were available in the home. The Wi-Fi worked well and the beds were comfy. The porch made a nice place to sit and watch the sun come up in the quiet morning. The only thing we had issues with; a) it was a little difficult to find, but that’s not at the owners expense, the roads were just a little confusing to get around to it. b) we had 6 adults and 6 children so it would’ve been more convenient to have at least one more tv for the littles to share instead of only one in the living room. May 26, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### Good for the price but not as nice as it looks I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan on to get the heat out but turn it off if you want to keep bugs out. We stayed when it was fairly cool outside; I can imagine it’s unbearably hot in the summer upstairs. The listing pictures do not accurately depict the many, many steps to the dock that are very steep and rickety. I’m glad we didn’t have our dog or any toddlers with us; they would not have been able to use the steps. It was “clean enough” - don’t look under the furniture. The bunk room was infested With centipede bugs every day which did not go over well with kids sleeping down there And even had an episode Waking one of the kids up in the middle of the night With a very large centipede and jumping spider. Company came out, but did not help. Under the bunkbeds were very dirty with tons of dead bugs. The posting doesn't show the last set of stairs to the dock that is very steep, which may have let us to not book this property because we had a pregnant mom with us.
