![The Commando Memorial in Lochaber, Scotland is another one of those spots I kept on "photography" list. This place has a charming atmosphere and breathtaking views, but it's always busy with visitors or the conditions are not right. This time I was lucky for a beautiful sunset at the background and the temperature kept most of the people away, so I was there almost alone. « Très bien située au bord du Loch Ness, nous avons apprécié de passer ces 10 jours dans cette propriété spacieuse qui offre toutes les commodités: deux chambres ( lit double un peu étroit cependant et à ressorts) ,terrasse, cheminée, four et frigo avec congélateur. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du spa et hammam, salle de sports de l'abbaye. Du thé et des gâteaux offerts à notre arrivée: merci! »

"L’hôtel était vieillot mais notre chambre était très agréable avec une double vue sur le lac (en coin), et confortable au final. Le personnel nous a très gentiment reattribué cette chambre car nous étions gênés par le bruit de la ventilation dans la 1ere. Option restauration sur place que nous n’avons pas testé. "

"This used to be a hunting lodge so it looks exactly like a lodge, with lots of wood. It is by the loch with a magnificent view from the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately no lift to go upstairs so it was a bit difficult for my wife. The restaurant food was good but seemed pre-prepared so they can’t adjust the dishes. Breakfast was a buffet with good choice and good ingredients. The bedroom was quiet, comfortable with a great shower. We also appreciated the complimentary tea in the afternoon. There are a lot of places near the lodge to sit and relax by the loch"
