You will need to climb stairs to access this unit. Please note that this building was built in 1920 and has limited insulation causing noise to sometimes pass easily through the units. The roadway next to the building is Maine State Route 102 that has traffic passing through at all hours. The entire building observes a quiet time between 10:00PM-8:00AM which includes running your laundry as to not disturb the neighbors. \-Please note that you must be out of the Unit by 10:15AM the LATEST. You will receive a $150 fee if you are out of the unit later than 10:15AM and will be charged an additional $50 for every 15minute interval that you are late after that. We have had problems with guests leaving late in the past and need to make sure that our cleaning team has enough time to properly clean the unit before the next guests arrive. \-This building observes quiet time from 10:00PM-8:00AM and you are not allowed to make excessive noise or run the washer/dryer during those hours because of the noise it makes. This building is over 100+ years old and the walls are thinner than modern walls \-No pets are allowed in the unit. You will be charged a $400 Pet Fee if you are caught with a pet in the unit \-No parties or events are allowed in the unit. Between the hiking and the 3 floors of stairs our legs definitely got a workout. Great view of Southwest Harbor from back deck. Short walk to sports bar and a great breakfast cafe down the street. 40 min drive to Bar Harbor which we went to twice, but we loved the traditional NE feel of Southwest Harbor. A few great traditional lobster houses close by in SWH and nearby Bass Harbor. Only wish the unit came with a blender and pitcher for iced tea. We were impressed with the little things that were included, like coffee, Pam spray, salt/pepper and laundry detergent. Having a place to put groceries other than the top of the refrigerator and countertops, would be a consideration for improvement. The quick walk into the quiet town provided a wonderful location. Stayed with my husband and 18 and 20 year old sons. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to but it’s worth it for the high wooden ceilings that are beautiful. The view was nice but unfortunately we had foggy weather the 2 days we were there. Not too far from Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. About a 20 minute drive. The Next Level sports bar across the street was convenient. The condo is in a quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable. I did feel a little self conscious of the quiet time rule from 10 pm to 8 am since we were on the top floor. Not sure if a family with rambunctious kids would want to stay there but perfect if kids are calm and not running around in the house. ##### Shaye H. It is a walk up as they say, but not a bad climb. And it’s nice having parking right outside the door. And it’s an easy walk right into Southwest harbor for shops and restaurants.
