Downsize your stay-and upgrade your experience-by booking one of our two identical custom-built, self-contained Tiny Houses. Thoughtfully designed and perfectly efficient, each unit comfortably accommodates up to two guests with a cozy queen-sized bed and all the essentials you need for a relaxing getaway. Inside, you'll find a modest kitchenette equipped with a ¾ refrigerator, apartment-size stove/oven, sink, cookware, and dishware-ideal for preparing simple meals after a day of exploring. This Tiny House also includes a full bathroom with a stand-up shower (sink in kitchen), plus a heat pump/AC unit to keep you comfortable in any season. ALL linens also included! Tiny living doesn't mean sacrificing comfort. Everything about the property is peaceful and allows you to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Karen and Aaron were great hosts who checked in regularly and made sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. Being on the quiet side of Acadia National Park also had its perks, from proximity to beautiful hikes with less crowds to still being a short drive from the park and great spots for sunrise and sunset! The grounds were also well maintained. The Wellness Center has a beautiful yoga studio which we took advantage of. Karen and Aaron were great hosts and checked in to make sure our stay was great. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast before leaving for our hikes. Acadia Yurts was about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and many of the hiking spots we went to. There was absolutely no place to open our suitcases or store them. Getting in and out of the bed is very difficult since there is a tiny space between the sides of the bed and the walls. You need to climb in from the bottom of the bed so if you have any back issues that is a problem. There is no place to to put your phone or eyeglasses next to the bed. The only sink is in the main room, there is no sink in the bathroom. We were quite surprised that there was no shampoo and just a tiny bar of soap. Everything was clean. The property is very close to many Acadia sites on the Southwest side of Mount Desert Island. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the larger side of the park. We had an amazing experience. The tiny house and community was so comfy, organized, and the community has many amenities for guests to use. Instructions were very clear and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Lots of trails near bye and we hiked Acadia Mountatin which is 6 minutes away. We did other hikes such as ocean loop, sand beach, thunder hole, otter cliffs, Jordan Pond, south bubble rock! We also drove up to Cadillac mountain to witness the most gorgeous sunset. ##### Isabella G. I found the accommodations to be just as advertised. Everything was quite clean and the host was quick to respond to my text inquiries. The location is great, near several good restaurants, and easy access to the all the sights on the island. The house is compact, but everything you need is there. There is very little room on the sides of the bed so we had to climb into it from the bottom.
