Located just across the swing bridge from Boothbay Harbor, Little Nick offers one bedroom, a bright and sunny living area, galley style kitchen, and a deck with peeks of the water. Downtown Boothbay Harbor is just a 7-minute drive away. Robinson\`s Wharf is right around the corner where you can experience fresh seafood and live music on Sundays. Periwinkle Cottage is located next door to Little Nick. Perfect for two couples who would like to travel together but have their own place! Dogfish Head Beach is 3 1/2 miles away. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a quick 10-minute drive, and laundry is located 3 miles away. Guests have access to the entire cottage. Please note this cottage does not have cable TV but does have a TV that can connect to your Netflix account. IMPORTANT: To ensure peace of mind during your stay, we offer two options for damage protection: a small, one-time non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver (our most convenient and guest-preferred option) or a fully refundable Security Deposit, returned after your stay if no damage is reported. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll be prompted to complete this step. Courtesy quiet hours start at 10 p.m. per local ordinance. We can to see puffins and explore the botanical gardens. the cottage was perfectly quaint and such a peaceful place to rest after the long drive and then our adventures! It is close enough to Boothbay Harbor to get there quickly and beat the crowds. From the living room is a nice view, although obstructed, of the inlet with boats going in and out. The deck and barbecue looked inviting (it was cold and rainy so we did not take advantage). The house itself is shoehorned between three other houses, none of which are too close. We were checked in by a lovely hostess from the management agency and eventually met the owner of the property who lives adjacent (and sweetly shared some banana bread). The house itself is good size--the only issue was storage in the kitchen, but this is not a big deal when staying for a short time. The shower is small with a faucet that dumps rather than drizzles and there is no light in the bathroom (that we could find); these are bearable issues considering all else! ##### lauren J. The property is absolutely exquisite, both in terms of proximity to local attractions as well as well as being a comfortable, quiet place to stay. It’s a small cabin, but if you don’t need a ton of space it’s comfortable. Little Nick on Southport Island was the perfect home base. The location was convenient for all of our explorations. We enjoyed seeing the boats go out from the harbor each morning.
