Completely remodeled in 2021, 110 E. Capricorn is a picture-perfect private home featuring 3 master bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms! Make your vacation the most memorable with a backdrop of gorgeous coastal decor. Step through the front door to an inviting entryway with a sitting area. Just past the sitting area is the open concept kitchen, living room and dining area. The living room features a large flat-screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with all new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishware to make delicious home-cooked meals. A beautiful dining table accommodates 6 guests comfortably, while a large kitchen bar provides additional seating for 4\. Upstairs, guests have the choice between 3 master bedrooms. The first two feature king-size beds, flat-screen TVs and private master bathrooms. One of the two bathrooms is equipped with a deep soaking tub providing you with a place to unwind after an adventuring day on South Padre Island! The third bedroom entails a queen-size bed, flat-screen TV and private bathroom as well. Two of the bedrooms also have private access to a shared balcony with lounge chairs perfect for basking under the sun, enjoying a nightcap or just enjoying the sea breeze! A privacy fence surrounds your very own, large private pool! Take a refreshing dip, lounge poolside or sit back and soak in the hot tub! Enjoy a nice BBQ with your friends and family or visit one of the many delicious local restaurants in the area. Many of them are within walking distance to this centrally located home. When you're ready to hit the beach, it's less than a 5-minute walk from your front door! Every stay at 110 E. Capricorn includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. It was very clean and comfortable. It is nice having a private pool and hot tub in the backyard in addition to being a 5 minute walk from the beach. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is that they will require you to sign a separate contract, outside of the VRBO contract, and they will require that you send them photos on the front and back of your drivers license and credit card. Due to this, I will not rent again from SPI. There is no reason why they need photos of these cards. They should simply request to see them at check-in. You also have to download their own mobile app for all of the check in and property details. There is no reason why this can't all be handled within the VRBO app. Summary: great property but they seem to be careless with collecting so much personally identifiable information unnecessarily. ##### David B. I wish the host left more instructions for the spa and pool use as I had to call maintenance for help. You can only heat one or the other at a time and the pool never hit the 85 degrees as stated, after 9-10 hrs. The hot tub fit 6 adults and two kids (8 & 11) comfortably but the spa did turn off randomly so just monitor while warming up but it only takes 2 hrs. The propane bbq pit was small so don’t plan on grilling for a large group. Also, there isn’t a sleeper bed sofa downstairs that I planned on putting my niece & nephew on. It sleeps more like 2 small 2-4 yr old children so my nephew had to sleep on the floor. Also, one more detail worth noting, the queen bedroom bathroom has no door to the toilet which doesn’t allow much privacy if two people need to be in the bathroom at the same time. ##### Nova T. The house was very clean it had everything we needed in the kitchen and the pool area was also nice. The bedrooms were awesome as well and overall our stay was great we enjoyed staying there. Just like the pictures, the pool and backyard area is huge. Stayed with family (adults, kids and dog), everyone had a great time. The kitchen is nice and big, the BBQ grill was great, lots of pool time. Very close walk to the beach, gas station down the street. Would recommend and will be back! ##### Cynthia m. Only thing couldn't find a broom to sweep the kitchen or other rooms. Also bathtub was amazing but blunger was broken. We had to use a towel .
