There is a grocery store on the mainland so plan on picking up/ bringing everything you need if you plan on cooking. The beds were ok but mattresses could use an update. Linens were very nice. Jul 23, 2024 #### Breath taking condominium This was the BEST experience we have ever had. If I could give 10 STARS I would. This condo is located on the 7th floor and the view is to die for. The window door in the livingroom has a PERFECT view to the beach and the ocean waves. The master bedroom has another window sliding door with the view to the causeway. It is amazing. The pool is very clean as is the two hot tubs that are also available. The security on the property are very attentive and observative. Feb 7, 2024 #### Great Place for an Escape We just spent a month in Sunchase IV and totally enjoyed it. The rooms are great with a view from the bedroom balcony of the logoon and businesses. The living room and and dining area is upstairs on the next floor with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The views are spectacular. The complex has many organized events including pickleball, cards, bingo, bag toss, water aerobics and much more. The residents and guests are so welcoming to new people. Great mature group of people. Mostly 60's plus but welcoming to all. The unit itself has all the amenities you would want. TV in living room is large. One in the main bedroom as well. The fridge is large with an ice maker and filtered water. Kuerig machine, and all the kitchen appliances you could use. We really enjoyed the month. Vacasa was great. Feb 7, 2024 #### Fantastic Christmas getaway This rental had everything we needed, including beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We loved having views of the bay and the gulf. We cooked several meals while here and found that the unit had everything we needed for some fairly fancy dining! The location was perfect as we could have walked to pretty much every place we went to while visiting SPI. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture in the living/dining area. We did not get into the pool or hot tub, but every day there were people in both. The heated pool was a great temperature for being the end of December. Walks down to the beach were easy with the mats leading out to the water. This makes it easy to pull a wagon or walk with small children if needed. Our only negative feedback would be how thin the walls and floors are, but that's to be expected in community living. If you're prepared to hear people walking above you and some lough talking/yelling from other units, then you should be fine. We definitely would stay in this exact unit again. We had excellend communication with the Vacasa prior to and during our stay. Even on Christmas day when we arrived, they responded to a question. ##### Leslie K. Bad: This place was not clean (gross) - contacted Vacasa (middle man) at 7p when we arrived, response asking if we wanted assistance with cleaning was 1:25a. We did a lot of cleaning before then. The pictures make it look clean. Parking pass, wristbands were available in the office downstairs. No air conditioning downstairs for two days, they did fix. The few burners that work on the stove come and go with heat levels. Frig was really gross on the outside, freezer leaked so they had to come and defrost. Diswasher, rusted and racks broken. So much going wrong with this place that it felt like most of the trip was contacting Vacasa with the next issue. VRBO front rating was 4.5, when you got in the reviews 3.8 They need to fix this. I felt a bit bad we didn’t bring coffee because I mistakenly assumed it was a hotel setup, but thankfully there was a coffee maker. As a senior, I found the two-story layout a bit challenging, with bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs where the sunrise can be seen. Carrying groceries up was tough, and the walk to the beach was quite long, making everything feel heavier with each step. Condo staff were friendly. Cons- no water to unit for 2 days to the whole complex, which was not pleasant nor communicated by Vacasa. Internet unavailable on two separate days for hours each time. Only one of two elevators worked during stay in tower. Multiple condo repair items reported early to Vacasa were not addressed during our extended stay- kitchen sink faucet not properly attached to counter, microwave vent piece broken, stove burner not functional & stove indicator light didn’t work. Pros: the location/view are great. It's a short walk to the beach and breakfast overlooking the ocean is hard to beat. Also VRBO was very easy to work with and responsive when we had questions. The property was also clean and inviting (lights on and chill music playing) when we arrived. Cons: The space needs some updates and majorly needs some organization. Every cabinet/drawer seemed to have a random, unorganized array of things. Since we had planned on cooking most of our meals, it was a little odd to find multiple toasters and crockpots but then struggle to find a proper mixing bowl. There was a lot of stuff just random and disorganized. Also the ice maker didn't work (but there was an ice cube tray), the front large burner on the stove didn't work, the shower curtain fell down (tension rod so we could fix it), the carpet needs updating badly, and just a few other odd things that we were thrown off by. We ultimately had a great stay because we headed out most of the time but found this to be a little less than we hoped for.
