This condo is a rare find with all luxury updates and the closest to the beach. Amazing direct Gulf/Beach views from every room in this condo. Relax and enjoy the endless waves from the large 20' balcony. You can also watch the free firework show every Friday and Saturday night from the balcony (Summer time). This condo is one of the most popular condos in the condominium complex and books quickly. This 1 bedroom/ 1 bath condo comfortable sleeps 4, Comfortable Sofa sleeper in the livingroom. The master bedroom has a king bed with beautiful furniture. The Kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for your basic cooking needs. The Bathroom has double sinks and is separated from the toilet and shower. The condo is tastefully decorated with high end furniture and items that make you feel comfortable and at HOME. We strive to have cleanliness a priority and have high expectations to provide our guest with a great home away vacation. We do allow dogs under 25lbs with our approval with the additional pet fees. The complex offers 2 large pools and are heated during the winter. This non-smoking 1 bedroom/1bath condo is 750sqft: sleeps 4 people comfortably with a King size bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. This condo is 3rd floor with no Elevator, two set of stairs that are very easy. The condo is equipped with blender, coffee pot & keurig, microwave, Wi-Fi, 2 flat screen TVs, cable with 6 HBO and 4 ESPN channels, linens and bath towels. A guest laundry facility is provided on the property. Water sports, beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available at the beach. All you need to bring with you is swimwear, food, beach towels and beach gear to have a wonderful time in the aqua blue waters of South Padre Island. THERE REALLY IS A PARADISE IN TEXAS! All the Island activities and attractions are a walk, drive or shuttle away. The Island shuttle stops in front of the complex and can take you anywhere on the island for free. Water activities include dolphin watch, boogie boarding, snorkeling and scuba, surfing and sailboat rentals. For the fisherman in the family, there is bay fishing, deep sea fishing, fishing at the jetties, pier, surf and fly fishing. Off-site bird and turtle watching and beach four-wheeling are popular island activities. Other activities include horseback riding and the Laguna Madre Nature Trail. Visit the historical Port Isabel or take a 30 minute drive to Brownsville to one of the top zoo's in the country—The Gladys Porter Zoo. Across the border is Matamoros, Mexico. Access to the beach is just steps away which is super convenient. Side note: The hotel next door appears to host a DJ for a couple of hours nightly. I will say we apparently didn't read the description clearly. It is a 3rd floor unit. Beautiful views and location. There is no elevator, that was stated but we missed the 3rd floor location. We also missed that there were no amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, paper towels that we have had in our previous rentals. We did purchase and leave those items for others to use. There was s stain on the toilet upon arrival. Owner said it was our fault because there was blood on the pillow case. Yes, my husband has cancer and the drugs affect his lips and they can weep. It was the way they said the stain on the toilet was probably from the same thing that made me sad that I had reached out to them before I gave my review on here. I even told them that, and she was unkind in her response and that was a gross assumption on their part.They even complimented us on how we took care of their home.Overall we had a good trip. Great place to stay! As others have mentioned, there is an outdoor bar next door that plays music fairly loud at night. They were done before 10 or so. They played many different genres so if you didn't like what they were playing, wait 15 minutes! We enjoyed it, even at our age! The place is clean, beds are comfortable, balcony is perfect, and the security guards made us feel safe! And I cannot say enough about the sunrise from the balcony! INFINITELY STUNNING!! Bar Louie and Clayton’s are right next door with an amazing atmosphere overall and just a few steps on the beach away!! Live music, dancing, and fireworks off the pier Friday and Saturday nights! Inside the condo, you can barely hear the music playing so that was not an issue! And Turtle Inc. is right across the street, such a humbling experience!Insights: Make sure you buy bags of ice as there are only 3 ice trays in the freezer. Parking can be a hassle as beach goers like to park in reserved spots - security does a good job of keeping this to a minimum though. Take your own beach towels but there are 2 beach chairs in the closet.Us Missouri gals will definitely be visiting again!!! If you like action and movement of people this is the spot.Fri & Saturday was a beautiful fireworks on boardwalk. Nice and cold in unit. If i had any issues the owner took care of it quickly. We liked being able to walk down the beach to a couple of nice little beach bars. Also liked walking to the Sea Turtle rescue and hospital just down the street. My only knock, and it is very common at a lot of VRBO’s is the lockbox. Once you put in the code you literally have to pry open the box with something ( I used my car key) in order to get it open.
