Ground Floor 2BR 2BA, Pet Friendly & Steps from the Beach!

Come ready to relax and be at home in this downstairs unit at the Waves, an eight-condo complex with charming porches and a tropically landscaped pool area. Beach access with public shower and bath is a short walk across Gulf Blvd. After your day at the beach, return to the comfort of two bedrooms and two baths with nine-foot ceilings and tile throughout. The well-stocked, fully equipped kitchen has modern granite counters and stainless steel appliances and is set up for your first cup of morning coffee.

Sleeps six with a king sized bed in the master, queen bed in the second bedroom, and queen fold out couch in the living room. The master features a large walk in closet and private shower; second bath with full-sized tub is in the hallway.

This rental is well maintained and offers a clean, modern aesthetic. WiFi, Cable, and washer/dryer are provided. Large TV in living area and smaller TV in master. A sparkling shared pool is the perfect way to end the day. Two barbecue grills in the pool area available first come, first serve.

Two reserved tandem parking spaces!

Feel free to bring your dog and be prepared to relax while you set your watch to “beach time.”

The host are very responsive. The location is exactly as given in the description, walkable to the beach across the street, great beats at the Cafe at the Beach restaurant (behind the Palm resort nearby)... Good parking space

Loved it!

This condo had all that we needed to have a wonderful stay on South Padre Island. Close walking distance to a fantastic beach with restaurants and shopping nearby. The bonus for us was it was Pet friendly and our dog did very well. Definitely would come back.

Nice property, great for a family.

Overall, the location and amenities were good. There are extra beach supplies such as chairs and a small umbrella. The pool was small but nice, and it was great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen wasn't as stocked as I expected. The host is very responsive.

Home away from home

Love this place. For the past three years we have come back every summer. It’s located so close to the beach. Plenty of space. Super clean. The host is always available when needed. We will be back next summer.

Plenty of space!

Great set up, nice rooms and very clean! Clear instructions provided by the host. The rooms were large and so were the beds. I would maybe suggest extra blankets and things for the pullout sofa. Regardless, very nice and would stay again!

Fun trip!

The property was great! We loved the accessibility of the place to the beach, food, and other activities. One of our favorite aspects was the pool. Although it was small, it was very private and our group of 6 had plenty of space and had it to ourselves most of the time. The only reason we docked one star for cleanliness was we had issues with the dryer, but Juli was quick to help and sent out a maintenance guy within the hour. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Property - Excellent Location

We loved the home. It's comfortable and well decorated and would not only stay here again but would recommend it to others. The only thing that was less than perfect was a tech issue with the TV upon arrival and the owner wasn't easily assessable due to her traveling overseas at the time of our visit. However, she more than made up for it by providing her cell number which proved to be the only reliable way to communicate. Thanks - it was a great get-away!

My first impression was great upon opening the door. Cleaned well! The hall bath could use a little painting and caulking on the tub grout. Garbage disposal didnt work. Overall we loved it plenty of room. The pool was a bonus for us!!!!! Minutes too the beach. Thank you!!!

The property was comfortable and fit our needs. Close to beach access. A few broken fixtures, ie towel and toilet holder in mb bathroom. Also, little to no hand soap. Dryer did not work well.

Impeccable!

The neighborhood is very nice and the property exterior is neat and well cared for. Door entry was easy. The interior was VERY clean and tidy, comfortable and pretty! I can't say enough good things about our stay. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We had friends staying not far from us, and when they came by to drop off some fishing gear, they were envious! Our grandson loved the clean, sparkling pool. We had one issue (ours, not property or the owner) arise and the owner response was quick and extremely helpful. Great hosts, great property, great stay!

Great location for a great price!

The condo was about a 1 minute walk from the beach access walk. Loved the bottom floor access. We could leave our sandy beach chairs and shoes outside with no worry they would be taken. The space is perfect for a family of 3 - 4. The one challenge is children staying in the second floor condos stomping around which created loud noise coming from our ceiling. This is not in the control of our condo owner. Parents - please be considerate of those in the condo below if you have children running around inside your second floor condo.
