Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood only a block and a half from Oak Street Beach on Lake Michigan, this bright and spacious home is designed for relaxation, connection, and effortless comfort—perfect for families, couples, and groups of up to 10 guests. Enjoy the year-round hot tub, ideal after a day on the beach or playing in the snow. Step into a light-filled living room where large windows create an inviting space to gather and unwind. The open layout flows into the dining area and fully stocked kitchen, making cooking, snacking, and spending time together easy and enjoyable. High-speed WiFi and a smart TV with streaming access are provided. The chef-ready kitchen includes a Keurig, drip coffee maker, coffee pods, teas, hot chocolate, blender, crockpot, air-fryer oven, pots, pans, baking supplies, and a waffle cone maker. Kids love creating treats with the SodaStream and shaved ice machine. Basic seasonings are provided for home-style meals. The main-floor primary suite offers a peaceful retreat with a king bed and private bathroom featuring a relaxing soaking tub. An additional full bathroom with a walk-in shower is also located on the main level, along with a new large-capacity washer and dryer. The house is perfectly set up for you and your family (although we like to go as a couple, too), it has everything you need to cook, beach towels, etc and is close to downtown and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We also spent time on the front porch during a rainstorm. This was the perfect place to stay while exploring such a beautiful town and interesting area. Also, the host was so accommodating. The beds were comfy, the towels were fluffy and the house was beautiful. The kitchen was well-equipped - plenty of dishes, flatware, cookware, condiments, spices, coffee - anything you might need. If we had a question, we would send a text to Sheila, the host. She was extremely attentive, and answered those questions promptly. She even offered to come to the property if we needed help. There were six adults, all senior citizens. The common area downstairs had plenty of space for us to eat together, or sit together to catch up with each other. The four bedrooms gave each couple enough privacy as well. The front porch and back yard deck were both beautiful, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We've stayed in South Haven before, but this was the first time at this property. Everyone enjoyed it so much, we plan to return next year! It’s got plenty of space for families, and the back yard is perfect for anyone- green space to play (our dog also loved- and its fenced), fire pit, and hot tub. My family stayed at this location for a week and it was a lovely, clean and comfortable house. We enjoyed the fully fenced backyard and basketball hoop. It was so close to the Oak street beach and so close to the downtown area. The house was very clean and well stocked-above and beyond our expectations . Great communication with the owner. We loved the back deck with the hot tub. We still see each other often for holidays and weddings but this was extra special because just us. We went through family photos to organize for our kids and grandkids.
