Our amenities far exceed others! Check out our reviews! We have a lot of repeat renters, which we think says a lot for our vacation rental. During July and August we ONLY rent Friday to Friday! However, during May, June and September, October & November, you can rent anytime with a 3-night minimum. Taking reservations for 2026 & 2027 rental season. We’re very close to Gingerman Racetrack and our new beautiful wedding venue, Black River Barn and KalHaven Bike Trail Children love our playground and numerous game tables and all our bikes, tricycles, and scooters that we supply and new this year DISC GOLF! Our home sleeps and accommodates 22 persons! We feel we offer the best of both worlds! We’re so close to the beach and yet we’re in the country! Our well appointed 4000 sq.ft. home has the Sun, Fun, Space and Location to offer you Paradise!! This super clean and modern home has it all...space for everyone, huge concrete driveway far off the road. Great for kids! A beautiful view. Comfortable furniture, 8 separate bedrooms, 4 full baths!! The Main Level of our home has 3 guest bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms AND the beautiful and spacious primary bedroom is its own suite with huge walk-in shower and 2 separate sinks. In 2024 we’ve added a twin size bed in the very big walk-in closet. And a desk for anyone who needs privacy for at home work. In the sunroom, which has all blackout curtains, is a sofa bed with new queen size mattress. In 2024, we’ve added another bedroom overlooking the ravine and fire pit, with a king size bed. The open concept of the main living area allows the kitchen to be the heart of the home and an easy gathering spot for all. The kitchen has an Instant pot, air fryer, tabletop s’mores maker, salad spinner, 2 waffle makers, pizza stone, 3 crock pots, electric roasting pan, blender and so much more! And it’s all labeled so you don’t have to spend time looking all over for what you need! 2 full size refrigerators, an above stove microwave, and a 4 burner gas stove and oven. Dishwasher and we supply the detergent! Coffee pots, we supply the filters, 1 Kuerig coffee pot, bring k-cups, 2 toasters. 3 electric griddles. Plenty of coffee mugs and drinking glasses and plastic ware for children. Lots of mixing bowls and pots and pans. If there’s something you need, call me, I may have it in my kitchen for you to use! Large granite counter tops and lots of cabinets give you room for all your goodies. There's bar top seating for 6 and a large dining table with seating for 16. When it’s time to relax, stretch out on the comfy sectional. Watch a movie or stream on the large 60” flat screen television with Midwest Fiber Optic as our cable provider. A dvd player. Bring your favorite dvd's. WI-FI IS AVAILABLE. Additional hang-out area includes large sunroom open to the main living room, it has huge windows overlooking the secluded back yard and cozy furniture which includes 2 couches, 2 love seats, 2 chairs, a secluded large ottoman for a smaller person to nap on, lamps for reading and end tables to place your drinks,and a large round table with four chairs for puzzles and games. Bring your own games We have 2 pack n' plays, 2 highchairs, 2 booster seats and a potty chair and a portable tub for an infant. There’s a separate laundry room and we supply detergent, dryer sheets and Shout. Ironing board and iron. Broom and dustpan and a Miele canister vacuum. You don’t have to wash any sheets because they are done professionally for us. We just ask that most of the towels are washed and dried before leaving. The lower level: Full bath with stand up shower, vanity and toilet. Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen bed! An attached Billiards room with a professional size table. This is also used as a bedroom, has sliding glass doors overlooking the fire pit. It has two twin beds. An adjoining extra large room with a 60” flat screen television has sliding glass doors for use as an exit also. This huge room has 5 full beds. And a twin bed. In 2024 we’ve put in a queen size bed in a room outside the 2 bedrooms in lower level. This area used to be a kitchen but is no longer used as such. It has doors that closes it off from other areas. Two air hockey games, ping pong table and a foosball table are located on a cement slab outside the sliding glass doors. Outside the main level door is a deck with comfortable furniture and a table and chairs. We’ve put up curtains to help keep the sun from beating down on you in the evening. We have two large 8' picnic tables with table covers and umbrellas. Two gas grills (we supply the propane tanks)a charcoal grill and a Blackstone griddle! And our custom built slate stone fire pit, complete with sturdy log benches and chairs with cushions for those with bad backs! We supply your firewood and premium marshmallow sticks! Don’t forget the marshmallows! You can’t have a camp fire without those! Huge concrete driveway far from the road is a great place for kids to ride bikes, scooters and skateboards, all provided. And the driveway parks lots of cars. There is also a basketball hoop set up for playing on the cement drive. We have balls for all sports requiring them at our place. The grassy yard has three swing sets, merry-go-round and tetherball and room to play just about any yard game you can think of! Volleyball net stays set-up all season. We have a collapsible badminton set, horseshoes and 2 sets of corn hole. We have a beautiful ravine that is now cleaned up, thanks to Jim, and is awesome for walking in and there’s a picnic table to use and a few chairs. Sometimes our little creek has water flowing through it. We think you’ll love this added space. In 2025 we added disc golf in the ravine! We also offer two really big lily pads to take to the beach, if someone in your group has a truck or a van! Our group especially loved the basketball court and frisbee golf but there was a ton of other games available too. The house has a very long driveway and my 2 yr old could play chalk while I ran in or while we were playing volleyball. The pictures are a perfect representation of what is there! We had plenty of space for all 5 nuclear families (10 adults and 7 kids ranging from age 1-14) The older kids loved sleeping in the open basement area. The large kitchen was easy to navigate with all the drawers and cabinets labeled. We enjoyed the peaceful location, and the kids played a ton in the large yard and expansive driveway. We had 16 people and the house had plenty of room for everyone to comfortably sleep and hang out. Jim and Lynette have stocked the house with everything you may need and have clearly labeled everything. They are also very communicative! The house is in a great location with activities for everyone within 10 miles. It was so well stocked with anything we could have needed and very clean. There was plenty of space for us all to sit together or to spread out. We loved sitting out by the fire, playing pool and air hockey, and visiting downtown South Haven. This home gave us a chance to get our whole family together to celebrate my MIL's 80th birthday! It was glorious! We enjoyed all the amenities of the property, including the fire pit, basketball court, volleyball, bicycles toys, and the extremely large kitchen… able to feed our big family. We also enjoyed being able to go off adventures to the lake and in South Haven. It was a wonderful experience. Jim and Lynette were wonderful hosts. Our group had a great stay at Jim and Lynette's place in the woods. It is very close to the Kal Haven Trail, Sherman's ice cream, and Three Blondes Brewing...all of which we enjoyed several times during our stay. While the drive to the beach might be a bit longer by 2-3 minutes, the quiet, wooded house, packed with games, toys, and seating for plenty made it well worth it. Jim and Lynette are both attentive and kind hosts, responding quickly to questions about hot water and getting a replacement remote for the second TV. Our crew likes to cook and we could hardly miss with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of room to all work at the same time, and multiple grills! Thanks for a great stay! The outside space was really nice with a lot of play sets and a good fire pit. We weren’t too far from the beach, about a 10 minute drive at most. They provided a lot of coolers and ice packs. The kitchen is large and has just about everything you would need for cooking. Lots of space to store food with two fridges. They even had ziplock bags and storage containers for leftovers. Tons of towels and a washer/dryer is such a huge plus. super friendly and nice hosts The owners live close by and were able to help with any problems quickly. They also have a lot of things for baby care if needed like a highchair and a pack and play. We would stay here again. Things that weren’t ideal. Bathroom near the laundry room needs a lock installed. With kids it makes it too thrilling of an experience. Although it makes sense from a business standpoint, it would be nice to have a bit more freedom in dates you book for (as opposed to the whole week friday-friday for the mouths of June-August). They have a super nice pool table, but if it's damaged while you stay there it's $400 to repair it and having kids makes it nerve wracking, regardless of if you let them play on it. The owners did an unannounced yard project while we stayed there which was really loud (laying cable for an internet improvement). Again, overall it was really nice for our family. ##### David R. A large, fully stocked kitchen (dishes, appliances small and large) was available to us and a very thoughtful and attentive host. It's closer to downtown. The house had all the amenities that we needed (plus more). The play area for kids is more than a park, they were well entertained. Lynette was an awesome host. She has thought of everything you would need in the kitchen, plenty of towels and toilet paper for the bathrooms and plenty of beach towels, coolers and chairs for trips to the beach!!
