I checked in and quickly found myself in a room with a bed and a shower. Putting my bags down, I realized I may have wanted a fancy pool and bar, but I what needed a hot shower and hearty meal. This place provided them perfectly. Penny's Diner is a piece of Americana that brought me home, even 100's of miles away. This place is sensational for what it is. If you want to take a day or two at steamboat, and have no need for bougie and expensive hotel in the resort town, I can't recommend this enough. -a ski bum on a budget. "
