Didn't realize it was part of a group of rental cabins, but we never felt like we were intruded upon or like we were in a subdivision. Property was even nicer than the pictures showed. Trout pond has no fish as of now. but might be stocked later. Caught no fish in the river, but I know they must be in there. Hot tub was always clean, and it is a BEAUTIFUL place!! We love the stay but over the 8 years of staying here the house has declined. The sheets were very old and peeling, and this time we were very disappointed with the hot tub condition. However, when we arrived the cabin was very clearly unclean. The floors hadn’t been mopped/swept, bathroom floors were covered in hair, both showers were covered in hair and other filth, and the sheets had not been washed and were covered in hair and other debris, etc. One of the main bedrooms downstairs had mice poop in the bedding the night we arrived. There were no extra sheets or blankets available in the cabin and all the beds had the same issue with having dirty sheets. Thankfully we had brought our own blankets from home so we covered the pillows with T-shirts and slept with our own blankets the first night. The second morning we found mouse poop in one of our suitcases and we saw one running across the cabin twice. We reached out over half a dozen times to report these issues and NOTHING was done. We decided to buy some mouse traps and sure enough, we caught 3 mice within 12 hours. Again we reached out to Vacasa and sent pictures of the filth and the mice and nothing was done to rectify this. When we arrived the remote to the tv in pieces, so there was no way to turn it on. Vacasa was notified about this as well, and nothing was done. We called, messaged, etc over our 6 day stay and the only response we ever got was “we will notify the local team”. We had a very memorable time at the cabin with plenty of fly fishing and cuddling up to the fire.( Smart TV had it all!) The local staff was amazing and very helpful when we had questions. ( Thank you Christy and Rod!) The hot tub was crystal clear and was able to get to the highest temperature possible so that was a plus(104). Kitchen was fully stalked with everything you need and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. My husband and I are already thinking about booking this next year for Mothers Day and maybe this will become a new tradition! ;) Thank you Team! ##### Angela B. Oct 23, 2024 #### nice cabin cabin was great ,hot tub was great , next door/cabins on the property behind this property were very rude!! I think they also owned the store that they were working on at the front of the property. He blocked the only driveway goin to the cabin 5 days in a row , we had to move his cones an barricades every day coming in an goin out. Other than that Cabin was nice. The washer / Dryer combo is JUNK !! It needs to be Replaced with something that Works !! It would Not dry 1 pr. of jeans after 4 hrs.
