It's in a quiet, less populated area and not much traffic travels on the road in front of the house. The house was super clean and well stocked with whatever we needed. The only thing I suggest is changing the mattress on the downstairs bedroom. We had a 7 day stay with 10 adults and had to purchase all of the above as none were well stocked. Also called to have trash pickup early which never happened. Real game breaker was when one of the upstairs beds was discovered to have pee stained sheets making us wonder if any beds had been washed ahead of us arriving. It was 6º the first night we stayed here and we had a difficult time getting the heaters to make the house warm. I called customer service the next morning and a local maintenance man came by while we were skiing and got everything working properly. When we arrived in the early evening, the house was nice and warm. So a small hiccup but it was handled very quickly and efficiently and we were very satisfied with the communication from VRBO and the local maintenance guy. We also ended up putting some towels at the bottom of the back entry door and that stopped the cold air from coming in. We enjoyed our stay here and it was very convenient to South Fork. Great location- 20-25 minutes to get to Wolf Creek ski area. House was clean and nice to finally find a property that had plenty of beds for our 2 families along with multiple common areas to hang out. We needed a few minor things when we got there- Some light bulbs out and more washcloths, etc., but property management was responsive and prompt! Ashley and her team were awesome to work with. We grilled out without any problems charcoal was provided. The cabin has 3 sitting areas so plenty of room. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. We loved it frozen glasses to make drinks. The cabin was clean and well kept and yes dust free!! The only downer was no televisions in the bedrooms! We like to sit in our room in privacy and watch the news or a show and chill out. We like to visit southfork often and would rent this cabin again for sure if it had tv in the bedrooms. The decor was actually better than other cabins we have stayed in because it was all dust free and homey. The location is a few blocks from the grocery store so a real plus! ##### rose m. Séjour de 6 nuits en septembre 2019 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Bob A. 19 août 2019 Points forts : Propreté #### South Fork cabin The “bones” of the house are excellent but it needs (1) removal of 90% of the fake flowers (all they do is gather dust and get in the way); (2) brighter light bulbs and lighter carpets (the place is dark); (3) new carpet on the stairs and upstairs; (4) a new master bedroom bed and (5) a decorator’s eye toward “less is more”. This home is dated and very cluttered. The main living areas are very dark and not very well lit. The kitchen is well stocked but way too many items and not well organized. Felt like home. This home was fully stocked with everything! More than enough room to accommodate our family. 3 different living spaces for everyone to enjoy a movie, games or watch the bowl games. Séjour de 7 nuits en décembre 2018 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Matthew G. 10 déc. 2018 #### Excellent stay for large group Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we had lots of younger grandkids (6-14 years old) and I'm not sure I would recommend this wonderful home with all of its decorations...too much worry that something would break; also could have used surface space where nick-backs were staged. With that said, there is no other reason I see for not staying here for the ski season. Lots of beds, plenty of heat, kitchen well-stocked. easy-in and easy-out to Wolf Creek. We drove to Pagosa Springs and we liked the roads to South Fork, for safe driving during snowy conditions. South Fork has restaurants. gas stations, ski shops. and friendly folks. We really enjoyed our ski vacation and would stay in South Fork again. ##### Matthew G.
