Easy 10 min walk to the beach and a short drive to all the attractions. The cottage was just perfect with a great yard and room downstairs to relax after a day of hiking and beaches. In a nice charming neighborhood, with water view just down the street, great relaxing morning walks with our dog. The place had everything we needed and more, with volleyball net and various balls, frisbee and toys. Furnitures and carpet could use a little refresher or deep cleaning however, but I assume that this is to be expected when accepting dogs, which was very important to us. However, I would recommend only one family as it is pretty tight. The kitchen would need a fan (the ceiling fan is not sufficient ) as it gets quite smoky when cooking we had to open the front door when we made our meals. Not having a dining table indoors was problematic when the weather did not permit us to eat outside. I would recommend removing the carpets if pets are permitted. Musty smell in the house, needs new AC. We had to remove lots of cobwebs in the basement for the kids to sleep comfortably. A couple of us tripped in the staircase going down as it is quite steep. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding and a large bathroom. As a bonus feature, there is a large games room in the basement. On our way out we ran into Sean J. and Catherine, they were very kind and friendly. We would rent here again! ##### Monica M.
