Close to the beach and to the main drag. The owner was quick to reply to messages. The big issue for us was and still hasn't been resoved, was VRBO charging us in American funds, instead of Canadian which we had assumed. Tim was an Amazing host! Right from the beginning with booking his communications with us was above and beyond! He had even text me once we were in to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything! The cottage was so welcoming when we arrived with the lights on low and the local radio station on to welcome us!! Pictures of the cottage really couldn’t do it justice as it was even more beautiful and cozy than we had anticipated!! The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more and although we only stayed two nights both my partner and I wish that we could have had the time in our schedules to stay longer. Looks even better than the pictures:) Check-in was seamless, and the place was in immaculate condition (with ample kitchen appliances available!). The location is unbeatable: across the street from the beach, an 8-10 minute walk over to the main street. The fire pit outside with marshmellow roasting sticks made for a great campfire night. Patio set-up is great for entertaining, and the umbrella was big enough that all 5 of us comfortably spent the afternoon outside while it was raining. Internet was strong, tv included an hdmi cord so we had no issues connecting our laptop for a movie night. The real jewel of the rental, however, is the owner, Tim. Tim was so beyond helpful both in the weeks leading up to our stay and throughout the weekend. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay.
