The place is perfect partially obstructed water view but great from the top loft. Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Boothbay and Pemaquid. The house was perfect for all of us and located in quaint and lovely part of Maine. The house is better in person, with great lighting, hardwood floors, and a large kitchen and living room. Great mattresses and the house is solidly built - not creaky for an older home and sound doesn’t travel from upstairs / next door. The only downside is the tricky stairs with a young child or elderly person to get to the third floor living room / kitchen. It’s a very special neighborhood - two minute drive to a charming beach cove and two minute drive to a great waterside restaurant, Coveside. The host was extremely thoughtful and communicative. Jill couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. She gave my grandson a large stuffed bee which he slept with the whole time we were there.
