The communications from the host were continuous throughout our stay just to make sure everything was going fine. The hot tub was clean and warm even in negative temperatures. We had 8 adults and 4 children (plus a baby) with us and had plenty of room to enjoy each others company.We lost power briefly while we were the and the hosts were very attentive in their communication. We loved the fire pit out back, with space to also play cornhole. The kitchen table was perfect for sharing meals together. The garage provided lots of entertainment for adults and kids alike. The beds were all a bit uncomfortable. The hot tub didn’t seem very clean, even after making a couple of suggested adjustments. The photos make the house look more updated than it really is. My husband and his family spent many summers up around José Lake, where this gem is located. He and his siblings had wanted to spend some time where they had so many wonderful memories… Could not have asked for a better place for us to spend time together. Everyone had their own space to relax and rest but the common areas of this property were what turned out to be the best part. The garage area game room and the fire pit patio area were our favorites but the kitchen (big enough to seat all of us at one time) was a close second. These hosts really thought of EVERYTHING! From the welcome binder, plenty of pots/pans/plates, etc… to the little things like soaps and lotions. I had to work during the trip so the first thing I did was made sure I could get onto the wifi. I had a little trouble and reached out to our host for assistance. She was so responsive (note… she called me from EUROPE)! I was on and ready to get to work right away. She checked in with me to make sure all was well.
