Watch the Magdalen Island ferry and the lobster boats leave the harbor from the front deck. The owner/ host has taken the care and time to add quality amenities such as a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a 4 burner propane stove, a dishwasher and a washer & dryer. We have enjoyed holidays in rental homes for many years and in many different places, but never have we ever stayed in a cottage that well stocked. Everything we could think of was available to us! It was so very pleasant. Our only comment was that we visited during a extremely hot period and the cottage does become overheated during the day, despite the fans! I don't think that temperatures in the 30+ are common in Souris so I would not be too concerned, but we could have used a bit of air conditionning during part of our holidays. The cottage is just lovely and what about the daily nature show when around 8h30 the foxes come out and play in the little park in front of the house?! Just wonderful. It had everything you’d ever need plus some nice extra like puzzles, colouring books, and streaming services. Even on rainy days the kids were entertained. The hosts were very attentive and made sure they were available if we had any questions at all. It was close to shops, playgrounds, and beaches. Highly recommend! ##### Emily W. It was clean and well set up. The deck was fabulous with Adirondack chairs and comfy, colourful cushions on the other chairs. It overlooked the wharf, lighthouse and water! Highly recommend.
