You need a car to get anywhere; the road up from the beach/town has no pavement and is steep so not really walkable. The final road to the apartment is a track with more holes than road so a 4x4 recommended. So pleased to find a stove and microwave and coffee maker. There is no misrepresentation. Whitney and his dad immediately responded to every request we had. The road to their place is VERY rough. Have a car with good suspension! We laughed about it and called it the goat path. We miss Wally the local, friendly cat. Their small infinity type pool is perfect for after a long day of diving or hiking. This place is very quiet. You can hear roosters, but no music from bars and no smell from any area restaurants. Those things are only 10 minutes away. There is no ocean view, but we enjoyed our view overlooking the town and Pitons. We had our own car. Parking spot is available off the goat trail! Many of the other guests were walkers. Id highly suggest a car, there is so much hiking to do elsewhere….overall a good experience and would stay again. ##### Tracy D.
