![The holy first martyr Thekla is one of the most revered saints of the Christian church, one of the first nuns, her name is mentioned when women were tonsured as monks. Initially, there was a small cave chapel where residents of neighboring villages came to honor the memory of the Holy First Martyr Thekla, very revered and beloved on the holy island, to ask the Lord for intercession and teaching. And to this day you can go into this chapel, going down from the modern snow-white church to the beach. A new church was built today. "We had a really nice stay in Adams during the Christmas holiday in the end of 2025\. Friendly staff and great location just next to the beach and we would love to come back in the future. The only recommendation I would like to give is the number of coffee machine available during the breakfast period as it has always been a long queue and it might ruin the relax atmosphere. Other than that, everything was really nice. "
