Sabrina & Jérôme welcome you to an authentic, traditional 19th-century Bresse farmhouse, carefully restored, nestled in the peace and quiet of a rural hamlet, 4 km from the village of Sornay (small shops & supermarket). Total tranquility, nestled on the edge of a vast plateau of fields, a stone's throw from wild forests, in the heart of the gentle Louhans countryside. Spacious, very comfortable gîte. Vast living room. Ultra-complete, high-quality equipment. Warm country character with contemporary accents enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (masterful multi-centenary beam, walls & old brick bread oven, stone fireplace mantels, beams, half-timbering, etc.). This 3,800m² enclosed property includes a beautiful heated swimming pool with shower (4x10m) carefully landscaped (flowers and vegetation) in a Mediterranean and tropical style, a pétanque court, a small private, fenced and secure fish pond with a pontoon (carp and tench fishing possible), a sheltered and exposed terrace (with an unusual outdoor billiards area), and a covered games area with a ping-pong table.
