The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, while the spacious dining area is perfect for enjoying meals together. A convenient downstairs cloakroom adds to the practicality.  
  
Ascend the elegant oak staircase to find the large double bedroom, a sanctuary of relaxation with a super king size bed alongside a bathroom. The bathroom features a low-level toilet, a stylish wash hand basin, an elegant bath and a corner shower with sleek glass doors, providing a spa-like experience.  
  
Outside, a small patio at the front offers breathtaking views of the fields beyond, where you might spot deer grazing peacefully. To the rear there is a small gravelled patio area. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, our converted barn offers a memorable and relaxing stay.  
  
Babcary near Somerton is a picturesque village known for its charming countryside and historic architecture. The village is home to a traditional pub offering delicious meals, local ales, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it a favourite spot for both locals and visitors.  
  
Somerton, Somerset, is surrounded by a wealth of attractions. Nearby, explore the historic Lytes Cary Manor, a picturesque medieval house and garden. Visit the Haynes International Motor Museum, boasting an impressive collection of classic cars. Discover the stunning Muchelney Abbey, steeped in history, or enjoy the natural beauty of the Somerset Levels at the RSPB Ham Wall Nature Reserve, perfect for birdwatching. There are also a number of national trust properties close by, including Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House, Stourhead and Barrington Court. #### A wonderful little cottage retreat.

While the purpose of my visit was not the happiest, this little barn conversion was the ideal retreat to ease the emotions and stresses of the day. The cottage was beautifully appointed, the bed was super comfy and the sunrises were gorgeous. The host was attentive but not invasive. I hope I can return for another dose of peace sometime.
