"The room and the hotel are beautifully appointed with traditional/older style furniture. We loved that it was very different to the usual beige, black and chrome of so many bland modern hotels/rooms. Cleaning/housekeeping was spotless. Very good security - but the whole area feels very safe anyway. Breakfast was excellent. Reception staff were excellent. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and sightseeing nearby. We easily filled three fantastic days. Our only real criticism of the hotel is the bar - while it’s cute and quirky, service was very poor, and we wouldn’t bother again."

"had a wonderful experience thanks to the receptionist, Richard. I arrived at the hotel earlier than expected, and he went out of his way to accommodate me by arranging a room right away. He was extremely professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind. On top of that, Richard gave me excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area, which made my stay even better. His great customer service set the tone for a fantastic visit. Highly recommend!"
