For the price, it is the optimal place, and it was close enough to many places in Sokcho. Very friendly and kind, and I would love to go back.

I stayed for 14 nights. The host is kind, helpful and most welcoming. She cares for all guests in a motherly way. The guesthouse is clean and well managed. The breakfast is nice with coffee, self-made marmalade, egg and toast, yoghurt and cereals. The rooms are spacious and have TV and many power outlets to charge electrical equipment. The location is very close to shops, restaurants and bus stops. I can recommend the guesthouse for short and long stays, single or group travellers.

The owner is super kind and responsive!!!! We loved staying here. Excellent location! Right across the street from the Sokcho Central Market, which is amazing for meals. Also about a 15 minute walk from the intercity bus terminal, and a ~15 minute bus ride from the express bus terminal. Pretty good sound-proofing. We slept well. Free breakfast too! Orange juice, milk, coffee, cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs. A place to refill your water! I'd stay here again! We were able to do luggage drop-off as well. Thank you so much!

Ein guter Ort in Sokcho

Gute Lage, sehr freundliche Leute, geben Tipps etc. Frühstück okay. Parkplatz 5000Won/Nacht oder weiter hinten umsonst. Bad etwas unbequem (Dusche im WC ohne Abtrennung, aber das ist üblich in Südkorea). Würde wieder hier buchen. Danke für alles.

사장님이 너무 친절하셨어요! 건물 외관과는 다르게 숙소 내부는 깨끗했고 기대하지 않았던 침대는 편해서 덕분에 잘 잤습니다! 조식은 간단했는데 맛있어서 매번 배부르게 먹었어요 아 그리고 잊고간 물건이 있었는데 친절하게 바로 택배 보내주신다고 해서 너무 감사했습니다 다음 속초오면 또 올게요!

즐거운 가족여행

가격 저렴하고 속초 중앙시장과 거리가 가까워서 먹을거리 볼거리가 많습니다. 가족여행이나 친구와의 여행에서도 좋은 숙박이 될 것 같습니다. 주인분들도 친절하고 잘 해주셔서 감사했습니다. 첫날은 비가 와서 건물뒤편 유료주차장을 이용하였고 휴일이라 다음날은 시청주차장에 무료주차 하였습니다. 그렇게 멀지 않아요..

2층의 메인홀부터 분위기가 좋았습니다. 3층의 4인용 방을 안내받았는데 이불 상태, 바닥 상태, 화장실 상태 등등 전체적으로 불만족스러운 요소 없이 깔끔했습니다! 굳이 흠을 잡자면 커튼쪽 천장이 커튼을 움직일 때마다 천장과의 마찰 때문에 페인트 가루가 조금씩 떨어졌는데 환기 한 번 말고는 커튼 쓸 일이 없어서 무시했습니다. 화장실 크기도 작지 않고 드라이기, 멀티탭, 세면도구, 수건 등등 있으면 좋은 물품들도 있어서 기대안한 상태로 기분이 좋았었네요ㅎㅎ 맞다 4인방이었는데 건장한 대학생4명이 침대를 쓰기에 2인침대가 비좁은 편이었어요. 위치가 좋아서 속초& 게스트하우스로 선정했는데 내부 상태보고 더 만족했었습니다. 자느라 조식은 먹지 못했네요 하하

Would stay again but needs some improvements

This place has a nice combination of hotel and hostel. Some international travelers were staying at the same time and it was nice to see that. The room was comfortable but two major issues made it not quite awesome. One is the a/c remote was nowhere to be found and there was no clear on/off button. There other issue was no screen on the bathroom window, so when airing out from showers, it inadvertently lets mosquitos in. We got destroyed by mosquitos, ruining sleep. So I had to youtube videos in the middle of the night to manually turn on the a/c to get some air in the room, so we could close the windows. Was hot and getting bit made for bad sleep. Also, the sheets situation. It does not appear to me that previous guests aren't using the same sheets. Normally, hotels (at least in the states) have a set of sheets your body touches between you and the blanket/comforter. There was none in this case. I don't see how the linen is being washed in between guests. Had to stop thinking about it to sleep.

Stayed here for a second time!

Loved staying here so much we went twice this year and stayed at this guesthouse while we explored Sokcho. Extremely clean, warm and is in the perfect location to do exploring! The owners are also super lovely and helpful! Hope to see you again soon- we’ll definitely be back!
