Great 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in the heart of Snowmass Village! Just 120 steps to Fanny hill from this Aspenwood Condo. Brand new luxurious flooring, paint, lighting plus a newly installed washer/dryer. The condo consists of a huge master bedroom with a king size bed, cable TV, lots of windows plus a chaise lounge in the master bedroom - you have nice views towards the ski area and overlooking the pool. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bottom bunk, twin upper bunk and an extra twin bed. This bedroom has cable TV for the kiddos. The living room has a gas fireplace. All rooms have televisions with cable TV. There is a ski storage locker just outside the front door. The location is superb - you are walking distance to everything!! The complex is next door to the new Viewline Resort (formerly the Westin/Silvertree) where they have an amazing spa and also a kids day camp for little ones that aren't ready for ski school. Plus you are walking distance to all Snowmass has to offer - dining, apres ski and shopping. The Aspenwood complex has two outdoor grotto hot tubs with waterfalls plus a heated pool, small exercise room, sauna and outdoor grill next to the pool. The condo is equipped with everything you need during you Snowmass Vacation!! The condo is professionally and thoroughly cleaned before and after every guest. Walk maybe 80 yards level on Fall Lane to ski slope. Put on skis and ski down to Gondola or chair lift. Very easy. Come back same way. 2 "nice" hot tubs, - one maybe a hot 98 degrees, the other maybe 94 degrees. A nice pool, warm. We just used the hot tubs, which are steps away from the condo, as is the pool. After a day's skiing, the hot tubs were so nice! There are nice restaurants in the Upper Mall and also the Base Village. We also did 2 evenings at restaurants in Aspen. There are 2 ski lockers right outside your condo door. I would call this ski-in, ski-out, since getting to the slope was so easy -- after exiting the condo, you go down the 2 sets of steps, then level walk on Fall Lane to ski slope. Again, quite easy. I would stay here again -- nice property. p.s., parking is down Fall Lane, maybe 90 yards, the other way from the slope. We flew to Denver and drove a rented Tahoe and parked. 1600 for the week. Next time, I would fly in to Aspen airport and just use Ubers -- much easier -- and cheaper overall. Again, very nice property and location. ##### Steven B. The location was perfect to easily get to ski school by foot (no need for shuttle) thanks to our host's amazingly detailed instructions on how to get to the slopes with the least amount of stairs. And we can see the mountain from all windows. Christy was extremely attentive and responsive from before our trip to the last minute. Anything we asked, she helped with and was even proactive with suggestions.The condo is super clean and very well stocked (tons of toilet paper and tissues, dishwashing liquid, etc). And the heater in the Master bedroom never worked throughout our stay. The rest of the unit would be nice and warm/comfortable but the master bedroom was freezing, and it was hard to rest at night when I had to put 2-3 layers of pajamas on. Other than that, the manager would be relatively responsive.As far as the online listing goes, I think it's extremely important to point out to renters that this apartment is located where there are A LOT of stairs so for older people, it might be difficult to get around . Our nanny has knee issues and unfortunately, it wasn't ideal for her. The online listing should have a bit more detail on those type of things, not just try to sell the pool and hot tub that the building has.... ##### Patricia P. We had a minor issue during our stay and the owners were super responsive to get it taken care of. I think they under sold the pool though. It's really a great set up. Two hot tubs and a big pool. One of the tubs is tucked away and surrounded by trees with a natural stone waterfall into it. It really is gorgeous. The location for ski-in-ski out was as described and convenient with a walk down a few stairs and short walk thru a parking lot to Fanny Hill. The owner was very accommodating and helpful with our check-in and questions. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, and towels and dishes. Loved having the convince of the washer and dryer in the unit. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay here. ##### Carol F. The property owner, Christy, was very responsive and super helpful from the time of our booking until we checked out. The condo is in a great shape- we had everything we needed. We couldn’t ask more. I strongly recommend taking advantage of ski valet (with a fee) by the gondolas to avoid carrying up the stairs. We kept a rental car during our stay (daily rates apply) - while you may not need it, we found it to be very convenient for groceries and going into Aspen for dinner. ##### Cenk K.
