This will whisk you up the the Lost Forrest where you can enjoy zip lining, ropes course, dining, alpine coaster, fishing and more. In the winter, you are just steps away from the Fanny Hill 6-pack chair lift, The Treehouse children's ski school and great shops and restaurants. Take the kiddos over in the morning for their lesson and pop back over to the condo to enjoy another cup of coffee before you hit the slopes! The condo is so convenient you can even ski back for lunch! In the evening you can saunter back to the condo after enjoying a wonderful dinner at one of Snowmass's many restaurants. Your stay at this condo will be a relaxing and enjoyable one. You will appreciate the great outdoor hot tub with a view of Snowmass Mountain, a popular amenity with all guests. Shops, restaurants, children's ski school and the gondola and chairlifts are just next door. Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8" in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots in the winter - parking is free in the summer. The Lichenhearth Condominiums are located right at the base of Snowmass Mountain. Hike, mountain bike or ski right down to the property at the end of the day. Great location to slope and eats. Real wood fireplace was clean so well maintained with wood prestacked by the hearth ready to go. Made fireside nights real treat when everything now is gas. This condo is great. It's small but perfect for a couple. A couple simple things would take it up a notch! It would be nice if they updated and enlarged the TV in the bedroom. The skittles skycab was a quick walk, making it easy to get quick meals in both of the Snowmass Village locations. It was an easy drive to Aspen for the ballet and more dinner options. The condo was clean and well stocked. The one bedroom layout was perfect for us - one of us sleeps late :). There was quite a lot of furniture that filled up the main living space. Excellent layout, SUPER clean and had everything we needed! Access to a shuttle to Aspen was available, but we ended up driving as we were carrying lots of gear back and forth to a tournament there every day. The Kitchen was very well appointed, everything needed to cook an entire meal - including sharp knives (which are nearly always of poor quality in other rentals we have stayed at). Washer/dryer worked great and the shower was quite nice, including ample supplies of bath products and linens. The bed was comfy and there were several different pillow densities to chose from. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub weren't available due to repairs, especially since that was the main reason why we picked this listing. However, we understand these things can't always be guaranteed and we appreciated that the management team notified us prior to arrival. They were very promptly responsive to all communications. They also offered a bit earlier check in & later check out when requested, which was nice. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you! ##### Sarah R. Our boys did not mind sleeping on the pull out couch and they said the bed was fairly comfortable. The kitchen was sell stocked, plenty of pillows and sheets/blankets for the whole family and the in unit laundry was a huge plus, especially for a ski trip. although it was on the third floor, the elevator and stairs was easy enough to use and the ski locker room to store ski/boards on the bottom floor was a big plus. It is a bit of an older building and the hot tub was just ok, but the heated pool is plenty big. The wood burning fire place was a nice touch but they did not supply nearly enough fire wood and fire starters. We had to ask for more several times. The only negative things I would share was the lack of a dedicated shuttle for the complex as many other condo complexes do have their own dedicated shuttle for the owners/users. Also, they do not replenish toilet paper, so all you get is what it there. I thought that was really cheap and for a week for a family of four, they either should replenish same on demand or just keep it stocked for the week. I was shocked when they told us they would not bring any more for the price we paid.
