Guests will enjoy the open living space, high ceilings, and mountain views, which are great for family get-togethers and big meals. The dining table seats eight people comfortably, and the kitchen bar extends seating and serving areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with updated appliances. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, a mounted flat-screen TV, balcony access, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and balcony access, with a bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo right around the corner. The third bedroom features two twin beds, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bath with a shower/tub combo. Primary Bedroom: King Bed Secondary Bedroom: King Bed Guest Bedroom: Two Twin Beds The Chamonix boasts a European design and luxury amenities, including private ski lockers\*, an outdoor heated pool, a hot tub, an on-site fitness center, and complimentary underground/on-site parking. The villa has its own private deck with views over the slopes and the surrounding mountains. Situated next to the Elk Camp gondola and with ski-in/ski-out access, the Chamonix is perfectly located for an idyllic mountain vacation year-round. \*Chamonix has a slope-side ski locker room near all units but does not have lockers at individual units. The ski locker room is adjacent to the pool and hot tub area, and guests can walk across the slope to the midway gondola station or ski down to Base Village. Guests of the Chamonix have direct access to Assay Hill or can take the complimentary shuttle to Snowmass Village (Base Village or Upper Village) to access other lifts in addition to world-class restaurants, shops, and other events and activities. It was very important we had a ski in ski out room. Our condo was right across from Elk Creek Gondola so it made it very easy to ski home and eat or take a little break before going out again. Dewey the man of many talents there from driver to checking us in to things in between made it so easy and was so helpful. The room was just as pictured, I can’t say I cooked too much there because the restaurants are delicious. We also never used the grill but the fireplace was lovely and relaxing. Although a little older than some other surrounding condos, the property was nice with the following exceptions related to the kitchen. The kitchen was in need of some fixes. There was only one old and scratched frying pan, no baking pans, the dishwasher was no longer attached to the counter and would tip forward, the outside electric grill did not work, and in general the items in the kitchen for cooking were limited. ##### Robert J. The location was very accessible to activities in Glenwood Springs and Aspen for everyone, and also great access to fly fishing just minutes away. It was nice to come back to the condo after an active day. The stove was indeed fixed from a previous review. The complex overall is very nice. The only drawback for Chamonix 46, specifically, is the balcony from one of the bedrooms connects to the entrance way. It is very easy for anyone to jump the small gate to access the balcony. Since there is no A/C in the condo, we wanted to leave the windows cracked during the day, but we could not leave that window open. It made it tougher to cool that room down in the evening, and there was some concern to leaving the sliding glass door open all night. One note about Chamonix 46 is the front door does not automatically re-lock after it is unlocked with the key card. You need to turn the deadbolt to ensure the door locks when you leave the condo. I believe we actually left the door unlocked when we left the first morning. Thanks to the cleaning service lady for locking the door. Neither of these issues would prevent us from staying in Chamonix 46 again and we would recommend the condo to our friends. It is just good to know the little things going in.
