This lake house features a private 1 acre wooded lot with concrete floating dock, a boat house and plenty of parking, including a two vehicle carport. The perfect getaway if you just want peace and quiet! A serene lake setting with the opportunity to go for a quiet paddle in the supplied kayak or canoe or take one or both of the SUPs out. We spent most of our time enjoying the outside. The large covered deck provided a comfortable place to soak in the beauty of the lake, rain or shine. The outdoor space and amenities really allowed us to maximize our enjoyment of the lake. The owners were great and responded quickly when we had questions. It was very comfortable and had all the necessary items, except no TV... which was only an issue because the weather was cool and rainy and we wanted to watch a football game. There was some confusion, as we were given an incorrect internet password on the app - but we contacted the owner and he gave us the correct one. The listing said "pet friendly" and we had two small dogs. Upon checkout, we were charged an additional $50 for the dogs, which was unexpected as that was not in the original agreement. Everything we needed was there. Teenagers especially enjoyed the paddle boards. The little ones had a great sandy beach and docks to play on. Plenty of inside games. The couch on the porch was well used. We mostly barbequed and used the fire pit. Kitchen was so well stocked that we used real plates and utensils. If you need internet to work from a computer this is not going to work for you. Loved that the kids didn't need devices to be entertained. The host helped us whenever needed. The beds are comfy and the grandkids loved having bunk beds. Plenty of towels! The weather cooperated. We hope to return next summer.
