Travelers will have private beach access, making it easy to enjoy the sand and surf. Several grilling areas, picnic spots, and horseshoe pit, make Shipwatch Villas the ideal beach vacation destination for outdoor dining and socializing. Elevator access ensures convenience. Additional amenities include a shower and rinse-off station, boardwalk access to the sand beaches, and ample greenspace for relaxation. Step out on their balcony and see the ocean: a semi-open floor plan features natural light and a private balcony off the main living area, providing a comfortable, coastal living experience. Just 11 minutes away is a golf course and library, as well as shopping, and dining at Sneads Ferry. The Seaview Fishing Pier is 4 minutes away and Surf City is 20 minutes down the beach. The property has a great view and we appreciated the covered balcony overlooking the beach. We were able to play with our kids in the sand while their grandparents watched from the balcony. The elevator also made things easier for loading and unloading and the carts were convenient. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot and it was never too crowded. There isn’t much beachfront at high tide, but it was still usable and we just enjoyed the waves. Our kids’ favorite thing was searching for shark teeth (we found over 100!). The only downside was that there are some portions of the unit that are aging. The sliding glass doors were hard to open. The curtain rod in the middle bedroom was bowed. The circuit was tripped for the dryer. And the batteries in the remote were corroded. These didn’t affect our overall enjoyment of the unit, but were minor inconveniences. Overall, we were pleased and would stay here again. ##### Dustin T.
