Almost every room offers breathtaking views of the ocean, and guests can also savor the soothing sounds and refreshing sea breeze from two spacious decks that face the water. These decks are furnished with Adirondack chairs, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise or unwind in the afternoon sunlight. Don’t miss the chance to witness the sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway, which can be appreciated from the views in the guest bedroom. The beach is conveniently located just outside the front door; simply cross the deck and descend the stairs past the dune to access the lovely beaches of Topsail Island. In the evening, you can lounge in the expansive living room featuring an ocean view, vaulted ceiling, comfortable sofas, and a 50-inch flat-screen television equipped with DVD and cable. For those opting to cook at home, the fully-equipped kitchen meets all your culinary needs, complemented by a dining table and bar stools offering seating for up to ten people. The open-concept layout allows your group to enjoy time together while still having space to spread out for evening conversations. When it’s time to rest, the four-bedroom configuration provides ample accommodation for your party. The master bedroom located on the first floor includes a king-sized bed, a small office equipped with a desk, and a television. The bathroom, along with a shower and hairdryer, is conveniently located just across the hallway. On the second floor, the master bedroom with a king bed provides enchanting ocean views and its own private deck. Additionally, there are two more bedrooms on this level, each featuring queen beds and waterfront views. Every bedroom comes with its own flat-screen TV and DVD player. A shared bathroom, complete with a tub, shower, and hairdryer, is also available on this level. The living room contains a queen sofa sleeper, allowing this property to comfortably host up to 10 guests. The inside lighting was inadequate at night. We had to run the clothes dryer through several cycles. Never could get two of the TVs to work. Also, we were a little concerned about the plumbing system as when you flushed you could hear water gurgling in other areas. However, the location and beach access were great. ##### Terry P. While our time in North Topsail was lovely, the property was not exactly as described--"newly remodeled, very clean and well-maintained" is quite a stretch. We appreciated direct beach access and the ability to rinse off the sand, but the check in process (having to drive to Surf City to obtain house keys) was old-school and clunky. All of the indoor and outdoor furnishings, appliances, floors, hardware, etc. show significant wear from years of use and weathering. The unit lacked real cleanliness--so much sand everywhere when we arrived, baseboards and vents and counters visibly dirty, not-clean dishes in cupboards--and maintenance is poor--light fixtures with blown bulbs, a faucet not attached to a shower unit, bedroom televisions not functioning, sliding door off the track in a bedroom, etc. We were grateful for a plethora of sand toys for our grandkids, but sad to be missing the porch swing shown in pictures. We cleaned as we unpacked (and made beds--you will need to rent your linens, so if that's a deal breaker, definitely move on), but were disappointed to be doing that as we arrived for our week-long vacation after driving 12 hours. When you're spending a couple thousand dollars on lodging, you expect hotel-like accommodations. This home, while excellently located, is not hotel-like. ##### Mindy K. The problem is it appears no one is taking care of the property and only the bear minimum is being done. We as a family found numerous cleaning and maintenance issue but two simple examples are: -The bedding on all of the beds had multiple very visible stains (one of the comforters appears to have multiple "sex" stains) which shows that no inspection of the bedding was performed -There were multiple rooms that required a replacement light bulb. One room means the light went out but we counted as least 4 rooms so clearly this property is not getting a quality inspection between customers. I can go on but I will not gross you out. We cleaned for the first couple of hours we got there and went to Roses and bought blankets and pillow covers and made the best of the rest of our vacation. ##### Rodney M. The check in process was old school and clunky. It would have been much better if there was electronic lock access like most short term rentals instead of having to go the office to collect keys and paperwork. Even though we saw complaints about the checkin process, we found it to be very easy. We arrived later than we expected and we had no issues with picking up our keys. It was the perfect beachfront for my nephew. However, the floors in the house were quite sandy upon arrival. We also discovered a few dirty cooking pans from a previous renter. The dryer made a very high pitched noise when running, which was quite painful. Owners should definitely take a look at that. Property had everything we needed except a crib or pack n play, even a high chair. The home is beautifully decorated. It was clean but not overly clean as I found trash and sand under the bed. The sand is pretty much expected though. Communication was not the best before the trip as we could not get an answer about a grill, sand toys, or crib at the premesis. Check in and out was pretty easy but a key code instead of separate location to pick up keys would have been easier. Outside hose had a leak and could have been longer. Check out directions were posted in the house but some things differed from the directions in the packet from rental company. Overall it was nice here and no regrets. Great place to stay as nowhere would be perfect. The beach is awesome here! ##### Gina T. Terrible rental company This house was great. Open, airy, beds were good. Downstairs bedroom must be soundproofed as baby slept there and couldn’t hear any of noise from nearby living room. Need to invest in some new couches. They’re kind of breaking down. Stairs to upstairs bedroom are really steep. Seaside reality was a nightmare to check in and out. Sent numerous emails with the same info every time none of which specified which location to check in or mentioned checking in at lockbox or getting a text with the code to the box. You also have to use same code to put keys in Lockbox on checkout but they failed to mention that either. ##### Judy B. There was quite a bit of dust on the fans and some lights were out, but the property manager was quick to respond and stated they would fix those items quickly. The check in process is ok but a little off in that you have to go to a location first to pick up everything to get into the house. And upon checkout you have to drop off the packet of keys and info again. Overall would stay again though. Thanks! ##### Kelsey H. The deck overlooking the beach was perfect!! Very short walk off the deck, surrounded by other homes so not hotels/condos along the beach.
