Our chalets in Forest Glade is a very popular location with the children who think they have come to Narnia. Have a winter sport holiday or a Multi-activity holiday in summer. Or relax in our rural retreat with outings to places of scenic or cultural interest. Summer weather is usually reliably sunny and 20 C.  
Cheap skiing and snowboarding and excellent snow cover. Ski lift passes are not much more than half the cost of those in Austria!  
Cheap skiing and affordable family and group ski accommodation! Self catering chalet but with a choice of restaurants within easy reach.  
  
The benefit of staying in a chalet includes a separate room for the kids and a living space for you to chill out in the evening. You also have a kitchen area and all the comforts of home including a smart Tv and Playstation 4 and Netflix (in English).  
  
There is nothing worse than taking the kids on holiday and being stuck in a hotel room while they are sleeping/lights out early/having to be quiet...  
Small chalets are a good option with parents able to chill out by the cosy, romantic wood burning fire with the kids asleep upstairs and in a separate bedroom, but still close enough to hear.  
  
Pamporovo  
Although it is primarily a winter resort Pamporovo is also pleasant to visit off season, the picturesque surrounding mountains with peaks of up to 2000 metres (6550 ft) make for ideal hiking and mountain biking in the summer. Sunshine is generally reliable at 20-23C. So you can have a holiday break in a rural retreat or an Activity Holiday. "news Flash!!! Pamporovo Mountain Bike Park opened 30 June. Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Alps?? Ever thought of Bulgaria?? Why would we suggest this?? One area, price of food and drink, but it goes beyond this. Accommodation, uplift, travel, in fact everything. Trails that are deserted, unmolested and raw, fantastic weather, friendly local riders, a number of other activities, paragliding, wakeboarding, atv's, horseriding etc etc all at a fraction of what you would pay in the Alps.  
  
For those wanting to see more of Bulgaria, consider taking a week in Pamporovo and a week on the Black Sea coast. If you would like a 2 centre holiday with a week on the Black Sea at Bourgas (Sunny Beach) Sozopol or Sinemorets, the last section of the A1 Motorway has now been completed and so as a consequence, you can get across to the coast in about 3.5 hours.  
  
The living area of the chalet is 119 square meters and it stands on a 200 sq meter plot. One of the double bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom. There is a second bathroom. Both bathrooms have shower enclosures. The second bedroom is actually slightly bigger than the first. Both bedrooms could be arranged either as a double bedroom or as a twin bedroom. There is certainly adequate sofa space to sleep two more people downstairs. There is a downstairs toilet with washbasin.  
  
Bargain price - Comfortable accommodation for up to 5 persons.. We are featuring Chalet 25. This ski chalet has a traditional open plan living room with dining area, and cosy romantic home warming wood burning fire but has also got central heating. There are 2 sofas, a dining table and seating for 5.. There is cable television and Playstation/games and wireless I-net (wireless internet). Netflix is available in English.  
But you can sign into your own streaming services with our smart Tv. There is a fully equipped kitchen.  
  
Up the traditional wooden staircase, there are 2 shower rooms with Wcs (1 is en suite). There are fitted wardrobes; each bedroom has its own balcony. There is a covered patio. you can sit and watch the beautiful sun-sets. The ski chalet is ideal for either families or groups. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty.  
  
Larger groups can be accommodated by renting neighbouring chalets as well.

Forest Glade, previously called Forest Nook 2, is a secure community. There is a little drive to the hamlet - space for snowball play and ideal for children. A children's play area and Kindergarten are being completed.  
  
In summer there is space for play on the grassy areas. There is a covered patio where you can sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. Both double bedrooms have their own balcony. There is a new Adventure Centre - so you can have an adventure holiday or just relax in our rural retreat

Try a Multi Activity Holiday to the beautiful Rhodopi Mountain area (including Pamporovo Ski Resort) for sunshine and relaxation as well as an extensive array of adrenaline and leisure sports activities. Our Activities Centre provides adventurous activities to suit all levels, and will appeal to friends and family, as well as couples and solos. We can also provide excursions for you to admire the magnificent scenery and for the culture vultures. In other words, a holiday to suit all ages and to suit the passive to the adrenaline junkies.  
Pamporovo/forest Nook is situated in an area of Lakes and Mountains and is an area of outstanding natural beauty.  
Whether you feel like trying whitewater rafting or quad biking, cycling, horse riding, mountain hiking or abseiling, paintballing or jeep safaris there is a wide range of activities to suit all.  
Getting close to nature and taking advantage of the scenery by horseback or jumping on a sledge pulled by huskies is the perfect opportunity to see the amazing scenery Bulgaria has to offer.  
  
Excursions can also be provided for you to admire the magnificent scenery and for the culture vultures to ancient Plovdiv (roman) and the Thracian fortress of Perperikon - Bulgaria's Delphi - the Ancient City of Excessive Pleasures!

Devin - hot mineral springs  
Yagodinska Caves - longest caves in Bulgaria - fantastic rock formations some several storeys high  
Xanthi day trip to Greece - about 2 hour drive - archeological and historical  
Plovdiv - Roman Amphitheatre still in use; roman ruins, nineteenth century old town, museums, art galleries  
Devil's Throat Cave - spectacular underground waterfalls /and Trigrad Gorge - "most wonderful natural sight in Bulgaria" karst rock formation  
Day trip to Shiroka Luca - quaint historic village, Gela - for amazing views and Perelik - highest peak in the Rhodopi mountains  
Wonderful Bridges rock formation  
Assenovgrad - historical old town with many churches and chapels and Aropski Monastery  
Bachkovo Monastery - a must see  
Perperikon and Thracian Archeological sites day trip
