The house is fantastic; it has a beautiful beach overlook (Even from one room) and is well-maintained. The only issue I had was in the amazing kitchen, was there were so many drawers I felt like I had to go through all of them to find dishes and cookware. Additionally, the house is next to the "private" neighborhood beach access, which I will warn everyone is steep but decently maintained for a hiking-style trail. Could do with a kettle and toaster, but these are just very minor suggestions in the scope of what was actually provided. Beautiful beach and close drive to Brookings. The rooms are very spacious. All the bedrooms have a connected bath except one bedroom upstairs, which must use the downstairs bathroom, which is worth noting if you are older and must get up multiple times during the night. We initially had trouble getting questions answered from the property manager between the time of booking and our trip, but by the time we arrived, a new property manager had taken over and was very helpful. The kitchen is fantastic with top-tier appliances and is supplied with all the basics. Being on a private, quiet beach was incredible, and with the redwoods being so close, this is a must-stay vacation area. This house is about two minutes from the Oregon state line and about 15 minutes from the sights along the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor.
