"The kitchen was full equipped, room was clean and ample, and property itself was charming and in right inside the Old City, easy access to all major tourist points. Well maintained property, would absolutely stay here again. The owner Jon was easy to work with and incredibly attentive and responsive. (Only thing to note for travelers is that since this unique property is within the Old City, several stairs are involved in order to access)."

"Darija was absolutely amazing. From a very late booking, to getting lost and being slightly stressed when i arrived, Darija was so kind and wonderfully welcoming. "From the moment we arrived, the stsff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were given a welcome drink and they speeded up access to our room, as we arrived early. The breakfast was stunning. I don't think there was anything missing with healthy options such ss a wide range of fruit, yogurt (including chai yogurt) and detox smoothies; cold meats, cheese and salmon, a wide range of salad and pickled vegetables, breads, pastries and cooked options such as omlettes, eggs benedict, a full English, home made waffles and pancakes and even sparkling wine. This, all with a stunning view of the Adriatic sea. The room was great, with a spacious, sunny balcony overlooking the sea and a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The bathroom is large but if you'd like a separate shower and bath, it is combined in this hotel. Ours was a superior double with sea view, so there may be other options. We really enjoyed the spa facilities. It had 2 saunas, a steam, turkish bath, igloo room and plunge pool of various temperatures. There are treatments too and again the staff were very friendly. We went in the off season, so the outdoor pool, seafood restaurant and beach bar weren't open. If you'd like these, go from May onwards. Overall, this was a fantastic hotel, 15 minutes walk from the old town with incredible views, wonderful, helpful, friendly stsff and excellent facilities. I would highly recommend it. "

"Nice rooms. Tap water is good to drink and tastes great. There is nice promenade that runs next to the hotel (and other hotels) which makes for a nice walking trail. Staff are wonderful. I’ll be coming back!"

"Breakfast was the best part of this place. I’ve never felt so bamboozled in my life. The website had all these things for kids to do, theatre, play place, trampoline park, etc, then we get there and nothing is at the hotel. You have to walk ten minutes to get to the kids stuff, but then it’s all shut down during the offseason. We were there end of March and nothing was open outside. No outdoor pool, no swim up bar, nothing. Really not family friendly in the offseason that’s for sure. The indoor pool was really cold too. And there’s not hot tub. The room was super outdated too. Not what the pictures depicted on the website. Our “king bed” was two twins pushed together. Not king sheets either. It was really unfortunate as I wouldn’t have booked there if I knew how little it had to offer. "
