It served as the lodging for my family and my now-fiancé’s family after a successful surprise engagement on one of the Skytop trails. The house was just the right size for about 10, with some room to spread out! We took advantage of the Skytop amenities and it made for the most unforgettable weekend. We enjoyed it immensely together and created many memories. The house was clean and spot on with an amazing itinerary included that was sent by Dave the owner before our stay which was accurate and organized. It made our stay comfortable and easy. We enjoyed the grounds, laughs by the fireplace, and the nearby beauty of Skytop. It is a bit hard to walk to as you need to walk through the golf course which some golfers weren’t thrilled about but we loved it and it would be hard to walk all dolled up if you are attending a dressy event. This house is indeed on the older side and is very antique like. I would recommend this space for a big group of people and would definitely stay again. We previously stayed at this property a few years ago and are so impressed with the recent upgrades. The home has plenty of space for a large family, and the furnishings and beds are very comfortable. David, the property owner was easy to reach and communication was excellent. Bathrooms could use some updates. House was clean and centrally located to enjoy activities at Skytop and neighboring ski resorts. Some great local Resturaunt’s as well-Butter is highly recommended. The house comfortably fits ten people on double size beds. There is a pull out couch that sleeps additional two and we had two cots for two additional kids. There is a single bed on the other side of the house that can accommodate one person as well but pretty far from all the other bedrooms. All the bedrooms had bathrooms which was great. It’s an older house for sure but well maintained. The property is absolutely stunning with a great yard and beautiful views. It’s a shame you can’t have access to more Skytop amenities but we did spend an afternoon on the Skytop grounds and got drinks at one of the bars on site. Strongly recommend a trip to Promised Land State Park only 10 minutes from the house. Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Would definitely return for another visit! ##### Brian Y. Our large extended family was so thankful to find this beautiful old home with so much comfortable space, and character! We were back in Mountainhome for a memorial service for our mom, grammy, and great-grammy. Seven bedrooms, 5 baths, large fully furnished kitchen, big front porch and outdoor patio with comfy seating, plenty of parking, adjoining Skytop property with deer walking through the back yard...this was balm for our souls that brought joy to our family memories. We had a family 3 generation family gathering and it was a perfect setting with great access to all the Skytop amenities including restaurants, golf, hotels, hiking. So many bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms were comfortable and fantastic for a number of couples. Also nice rooms for young children near their parents rooms. The house was clean and cozy. We had a friend and family reunion and baby shower at this wonderful home in Skytop. It was a gorgeous weekend and we were able to lounge on the newly painted ( huge) porch and patio overlooking the golf course. I have had the good fortune to stay at this lovely, authentic and spacious home on many occasions with family and friends. It is a very special place, for sure!!! Highly recommend ##### Annie G. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was immaculate. Everything we needed was provided. The property is located right near Skytop, and it’s incredibly beautiful. We were attending a wedding at Skytop, and this home had plenty of room for all of us. The host was so nice and very communicative. Loved sitting outdoors in the morning, there are lots of deer around and we enjoyed feeding them apple slices. Thank you, David, for sharing this treasure with us! ##### Diane H.
