It's an easy 17 - 20 minute drive to the ski area and the best part is when we were on the return drive back to the house we knew we had a nice outdoor hot tub waiting for us. The house is nicely updated (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, carpeting, furniture, appliances, windows - everything) which makes it so much better than staying at a place that hasn't been updated since the 1970's. The kitchen had nice pots & pans for preparing our meals - you'll want to prepare your dinners in the house since there is only one restaurant in Skynomish - Whistling Post Saloon with it's limited menu (great beers!). There is plenty of dining if you're willing to drive to Sultan or Monroe (30 minutes) or the other way to Leavenworth (45 minutes). We highly recommend staying at this home and we'll be staying here again when we plan future family ski trips to Stevens Pass. ##### Craig S.
