I’ve stayed in many rentals, this one I really enjoyed how they had numerous large trash cans for our group of our size. This home is amazing and it was impeccably clean. Very spacious with a ton of beds. There is a marina next door and we rented a pontoon boat for the week and it was so wonderful to walk down to the dock and go out on the boat anytime we wanted. Check-in and communication with the hosts was top knotch. We loved the personal touches like K-pods and a full s'mores kit freshly stocked and ready to go. They made their kayaks available to us and the house sits in the absolute perfect location for exploring Lake Keowee. We were able to paddle or swim to a mini island sand bar, the Sunset Marina right next door was super friendly and we had a great day on the pontoon boat. If you are bringing your own boat, the sunset marina boat put in is a 2 minute walk from the house, so no need to pay to park your boat trailer at the marina. Everything worked out great. The family loved the comfy couches everywhere and clean, updated bathrooms, living rooms, rec room with arcade games, etc. I cannot forget to mention the perfect view of the sunrise over the lake and marina and the sunset in the distance with the lake in the foreground are clearly visible from anywhere on the property.
