ABOUT THE HOME Gather in the living room and relax on the leather sofas with seating for six, or enjoy a game night around the coffee table. Kick back on the comfy sofas and catch favorite shows on the 32” TV, or mix a cocktail at the bar and warm up around the wood-burning fireplace. We came with our three kids and their spouses and it was perfect! Plenty of rooms for all the couples. The hot tub was amazing and the propane fire table is the perfect touch! The house was well over stocked of toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap! I brought my own extra of these items as there was 11 of us one night and 9 the next. We will definitely be booking this place again. Likes: the space the house has, hot tub, propane fire table, limited check out chores, late check out option HUGE plus as we were able to clean up after ourselves much more before leaving without being stressed out, was able to drive not too far to Bend for an escape room and then next day not to far to Hoodoo for tubing, they had a coffee pot, Keurig and also a hot water pot, huge dining room table where the whole family was able to sit and play board games! The only two complaints I have are so minor it’s even ridiculous to list: when the sun is shining out back I couldn’t tell there was a step off the deck so I did a cute little dance move as I missed it which we all laughed! I ended up putting two potted plants they had to mark where that step was, the only other complaint is there was only one dryer sheet that we used the first night so when I went to do the few loads of towels before we left I was hoping the cleaning crew didn’t get zapped to bad! After the first night, all of the guest noticed that we had bug bites consistent with bed bugs. I reached out to the property manager, and they said that it was a serious claim, and they would look into it. Meanwhile, we spent our weekend getting bit every night. We didn't feel comfortable going to a different hotel or house because we didn't want to bring the bugs with us. We also had to take extreme precautions when we went home to prevent infecting our homes. After several days and reminders, the property manager said they had the place professionally inspected and that they were bat bugs, not bed bugs. They refused a refund, saying that "being that bat bugs are a part of the beautiful nature of Central Oregon we cannot provide a full refund". Personally, I don't think any sort of biting bugs in your bed is acceptable in a rental property. And there are many insects and animals that are part of the beautiful nature, but that does not mean they are acceptable in a home. There must have been a lot of bats in the attic for the bat. bugs to be traveling into all of the beds in the house. We found a sprinkler was broken off next to the deck which sent a guizer into the air in the middle of the night when the timer went off. We went to the hardware store and replaced it.
