The owner, Grahame, answered all of our questions and was more than accommodating during our stay. The Citadel is tucked away down a short gravel road and the view can’t be beat. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee is a must. We went to Nestor Falls to fish, so we took our boat the short 7 min drive to Lake of the Woods for some great walleye and Northern fishing, and ended each day at the Citadel. Our kids LOVED the zip line and swimming in the lake! The hot tub was icing on the cake after a long day of fishing. We hope to return to the Citadel sooner than later! ##### Jay E.
