Our apartment (153m2) has 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living / dining room, a large terrace and is available for 4 adults and 1 child. Wifi is of high quality through the fiber connection to which the apartment is connected. Wi-Fi is also available on the beach. Right next to the building there is a private swimming pool for guests of Blue Emerald with a view over the sea and there are sun loungers to enjoy the surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped including crockery, cutlery, pans, coffee maker, blender, oven / microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge / freezer. Bed linen, towels, beach towels and kitchen linen are provided and included in the rental price. All rooms including living / dining room and kitchen have air conditioning for wonderful cooling and on the terrace there is a ceiling fan. There are sunbeds and chairs on the terrace. The living room and bedroom have sliding doors to the terrace so you can fall asleep with the murmur of the sea. There is free parking and the resort is about 10/15 minutes from the airport. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift. There are only 220 volts connections (for Dutch plugs). The use of 1m3 water per day and 30KWH electricity is included per day. This is a normal use for 4 people. If you use more, we will charge that. The local price for water is about 15 Naf per m3\. For electricity this is 0\. 70Naf per kWh. As a guest of our apartment you get unlimited access to all facilities of Blue Bay, incl. Beach with free sun beds, beach bar, 3 restaurants (1 with feet in the sand and bbq by the sea), kids club, walking and jogging paths and tennis courts. There are also fitness activities such as yoga and bodypump in a separate room or on the beach. Blue Bay Golf offers a beautiful professional 18 holes, par 72 course with great views over the Caribbean Sea. We have agreed a discount of 20% on the Greenfee. Blue Bay is also a great place for snorkeling and diving. There is a Padi certified diving school. You can dive from the beach to the beautiful coral reef or go with a boat dive to top dive locations such as 'Mushroom Forest', 'The Blue Chamber' or a wreck dive at 'Superior Producer'. Snorkeling is also beautiful on Blue Bay and otherwise near bays in the area, such as Playa Lagun with a big chance of swimming with turtles. We advise you to rent a car. A large supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. For stays of 2 weeks, cleaning is included after 1 week including change of towels and sheets. Final cleaning is not included. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony. This place has it all. Stunning views from the balcony, overlooking the beach, sunsets were spectacular! Easy 1 minute walk and you're on the beach snorkeling in clear blue water & have access to multiple restaurants, beach/bar service. Plenty of beach chairs & excellent service. The communication with owner and property manager was outstanding. They provided a booklet that had detailed info & everything we needed. Manager (Nicole) was absolutely lovely & so incredibly helpful with recommendations on beaches, restaurants & other must see locations! Communication with Nicole was A and check out was easy. We went to Centrum Market (closest to property) for food but on last day found Carrefour Market @ Sambil Mall and wished we had found it earlier. It has more speciality items, more high end and only a little further. It's worth driving a few more minutes to go there! The mall has fantastic souvenirs for 1/2 the price of other places! We rented a car from Blue Lobster Car Rental & that process was so easy & reasonably priced! Picked up at airport & took us to the car, return was just as easy! It was a fabulous vacation and the island is charming filled with lovely, friendly people! The view from the balcony is wonderful, and the beach access is an extremely close walk. It is great if you have small children.The beach area was very nice with chairs and shaded palapas included, although they are first-come first serve, so the palapas are taken by about 8:30 AM each day. Be sure to get to the beach early. The proximity to both the airport and downtown was great as well with both being about 15 minutes by car. The unit was nice and definitely met our needs. There were some minor deferred maintenance items that need to be addressed, but nothing that would deter me from booking this unit again.The property manager was very responsive and helpful. This is not a self-serve check-in (or out) unit, and you must meet the property manager both for check-in and check-out. The condo has an amazing view of the beach and the ocean with plenty of outside space to eat, or just relax and enjoy the view, especially at sunset. The beach is great with added benefit of great snorkeling and scuba diving with a very short swim. The condo has lots of space and a great kitchen. From the condo it is an easy trip to experience other beaches or hike in their national parksNicole is a great manage and very helpful for our few questions. The free beach access was very nice and the snorkeling in Blue Bay is some of the best on the island. This property is centrally located between north island sites and Williamstead. The location was perfect. Highly recommend renting a car, traveling the island was easy. The check in process was great. Nicole is a phenomenal property manager who kept in communication with us before check in, during our stay if we had any questions, and she made the check out process just as easy. The view from the outdoor terrace alone made this property a shining star in our book. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and hope to return one day soon. ##### Sara G. Ariane communicated all of the things we needed to know beforehand, the property manager, Nicole, was on time for both check in and check out so everything went smoothly. The unit looked just like the pictures, it was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, there were plenty of towels and the view of the bay was perfect. She also had a golf club set which my husband was happy to use. The amenities were wonderful. Overall we would stay here again. ##### Michele C. Clean, very spacious. Our 4 adults were very happy but would be suitable for children as well. The view 5 stars exactly like the pictures. The outdoor balcony space was amazing. The property manager very welcoming. The restaurants onsite were all very delicious. We scuba dived daily so it was nice to just walk down to get something to eat at the 4 restaurants. We are from united states and the prices for food and drink were amazing. Presentation was like eating at a 4 or 5 star restaurant for half the price in the states. The island itself is incredible and did not disappoint. I would rent this unit again for a future trip. ##### kathleen g. The property was exactly as advertised, plenty comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect. It really met all our needs and exceeded expectations. Big shout out to the property manager for letting us stay a couple more hours after our flight got moved. It allowed us to stay comfortable and kill time instead of having to go around and find a place to stay. We would easily stay again if we ever return to Curacao. We have two children ages 6 and 9\. Blue Bay beach has calm water perfect for snorkeling. We saw lots of fish right in the bay. The apartment is about as close as you can get to the beach. We loved sitting on the large balcony overlooking the ocean. The owner and property manager were very responsive. Rent a car and see all the island has to offer. It was our first time on the island and we were so happy with our choice of location and accommodations. The unit was large and well decorated with a lot of amenities and supplies. The blackout shades were very welcome and the beds were extremely comfortable. Air con worked great when needed though we enjoyed the breezes as well. There was an abundance of towels and lovely renovated washrooms. Our family of four with two kids had plenty of space. The highlight was the very spacious balcony with the most amazing views, especially for sunset! We spent a lot of time there and think about it all the time! Ariane was very communicative before booking and prior to arrival to answer questions about the unit/ island/ rental cars/ restaurants etc. Nicole was lovely as the onsite property manager. She was warm/ welcoming at arrival & departure and on call if we needed anything (which we really did not except for trying to find the tennis racquets and balls - which appear to be no longer available). We felt very taken care of by both of them. The Blue Bay complex is fantastic! Extremely safe with the gated entry and the beach was unbelievable. Very clean with clear blue calm water and wonderful snorkeling right close by - which we did daily. The sunbeds were easy to access and the playground was great for the kids. Live music and fantastic cocktails/ pizza at the beach bar! Great service too! We will be back! ##### Diana H.
