the only decent thing about the stay was the staff behavior. other than that, the room seemed smaller than the pictures, and the washroom was especially tiny. the AC wasn’t working well, and the building seemed lacking in maintenance

Literally horrible. More like a nightmare. The rooms were cramped to the point of feeling like a prison cell, with barely any space to move around. The metal bunk beds were so creaky that every slight movement caused so much noise making sleep nearly impossible. To make matters worse, the restrooms were not only tiny but also infested with bugs which made using them all the more worse. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was appalling, it felt like the room hadn't been cleaned properly in weeks, and the atmosphere was grim and depressing. The walls are so thin, you can hear even the conversations that are being held OUTSIDE the hotel even when all windows are shut. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel even if you have no other options.

This is the worst hotel i have ever been to. The smell is so bad. The air conditioning is dripping. Its very limited space it seems line a prison. The bathroom is so small you can't hardly close the door. There's hair in the toilet. Its so bad we left after a couple hours. And management is so bad that they wouldn't even refund us the rest of our stay.

The hotel booked on line only AUD 83 but book through hotel.com cost AUD 200 per day. The hotel is old and room size very small and not very clean. The towel is aging. I believe, already used thousand of times and very thin.
