Ten meters away I got woken at 5:50am lasting for at least 10 or more mins., chanting on a loud speaker (Muslim Church). Location is good, but you can hear people outside talking on the street an I was 2 flights up. Also instead of 1 blanket being full size to cover you, the blankets were 2 small ones which you had to keep one to cover your feet and the other to cover your upper body. I did like the good air conditioner and washer/drier facility (self service, S$3 each). Na druhou stranu se jednalo o období Silvestra a Nového roku, takže to nemusí být standardní po celý rok. Staff were friendly and room was comfortable. There appeared to be a few people waiting for showers in the morning, but we did this on the evenings so didn’t affect us. To be expected and didn’t bother us, but be aware that the walls are very thin, so you can hear a lot going on outside your room. Breakfast was basic: cereal, toast and spreads, hard boiled eggs, hot drinks and juice.
