Sinaia / Peles Castle hotel
Nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Limited hotel parking, about 10 spaces. NO ELEVATOR. I was on 3 floor which involved carrying a suitcase up 5 sets of stairs. Not suitable for disabled or mobility impaired guests. Even if you are on “ground “ floor, it involved 2 sets of stairs. 10-15 minute walk tonPeles and Pelisor Castles. Recommend just parking at hotel and walking. If you want to go into town, very long walk downhill, take the bus.

The hotel is cute, the view is good, the room and wc are big. Did like it oeverwall!! However, the staff is really rude. The hotel have 14h reception, however we arrive at 3am, the guy was sleeping, we talked with him in English and he replied in romenia language. Also ask for an explanation why we were arriving at that time. The lady from the breakfast also rude

Didn’t provide clean towels or clean our room, when asked for clean towels it was a hassle for them to get them for us. When my husband said we didn’t have any new towels given to us their reply was “well today you didn’t”. We paid extra for a mountain view and didn’t see any mountains!! Would not stay again!

Only if you find a very cheap deal
Handy location if intending to visit Bugeci national park (10min walk to Sinaia gondola) or Peles and Pelisor castles (same distance). The room was somewhat modern, but warm water was a problem. On both days hot water ran out. The service and the attitude of the staff leaves also room for improvement. English skills were so and so. This was the worst hotel experience (out of 4) during my Romania trip so cannot genuinly recommend, but if you’re ok with compromising on the service level and find a good price, this is an ok place to stay for couple nights.

Dear Guest, thank you for your stay. The hotel was completely renovated and the room you stood in was open to guests only 3 weeks before your stay. Anyway this days I spoke with all the staff to understand what happened and, if indeed it was a problem with hot water, why was not solved. The "problem" was not solved because you have NEVER complained anything to anyone. There is a central heating every 5 rooms and neither one of the other 4 rooms complained anything. We are sorry for any inconvenient and we suggest you that next time to really complain so the "problem" can be solved. We assure you that the problems in our hotel are quickly solved so we can offer to our guest a very pleasent stay.

Nice hotel close to the Castle
This hotel is located at the top of the hill, close to the Peles Castle. It is an easy walk to the Castle and monastery. You can walk into town (about 20 minutes away) or a cab cost $3. The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains.

Well located for a short stay.
The hotel is located in the high part of the city of Sinaia, very close to Peles and Pelisor castles. The breakfast is good and the food in the restaurant (dinner) is very good. The weather was cold and the heating worked properly. The room is big. The receptionist Adriana was very unfriendly initially, but she improved her behavior during the first day of our stay. The receptionist in the following day (another lady, I didn´t ask the name) was very helpful and friendly.

El hotel esta cerca del castillo peles a 10 minutos andando pero me parece caro 60 euros por una noche mas las taxas del hotel ,la habitacion no valia ese dinero ,la teraza(sucia) daba a unos escombros y unas casas ,la limpieza bueno deja de desear en general el hotel en si esta bien ,el personal super amable y profesional y el desayuno tipo buffet bastante completo

The staff was nice, but the shower cabin was broken and flooded our room. The water got our luggage wet, but other than that our stay was great!

Gorgeous view and close to the Peles
Lovely, comfortable stay despite the age of the building showing (sone TLC needed into the bathroom), stunning views of the mountain ranges, extremely welcoming and friend staff, parking easy to get into right off the main road, restaurant on the main floor has excellent, reasonably priced food. Super welcoming of tourists.

View could be better
Considering we had paid extra for a panoramic view, it was rather obscured by buildings opposite and not the view expected. The bed was ok only and no hair dryer was provided even though it was listed as being a standard feature. Breakfast was good. Parking a little difficult with full narrow spaces in front of the hotel and access to the side rather steep.

We really don't understand which building is obscuring the view (if you booked and paid a panoramic room) as the hotel is situated on a hill and the view is open to the mountains. Clean, spacious room, well lit, helpful location
Everything is fine at the hotel, from the efficient reception staff and check-in process to the spaciousness and cleanness of the room. Breakfast is consistent and in line with Romanian 3-star hotel standards (meaning decent but not top). Location is excellent, close to the mountain road and not too far from Sinaia's main touristic objective which is Peles Castle. All in all go for it.

Good location in Sinaia and lovely view. Parking limited and tricky. Took some time to work out and, as this was a critical option in my decision making for choosing a hotel, a bit of a disappointment.

Location and view are the main advantages
No-frills hotel - but with an unbeatable balcony view. The mountains are absolutely majestic. Also, the main local attractions - the Peles Castle - is within minutes by foot. The main drawback: wi-fi kept dropping signal, and even asking the staff to re-set the modem didn't help.

We paid a small upgrade fee for views of the mountain which were stunning. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. It was a hilly walk to local sites, which were very interesting. The rooms could use an upgrade but we're fine. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotellet var nedslidt, og servicen var svær at få øje på. Gamle senge og interiør. Flot udsigt fra den ene side og god beliggenhed til at udforske bjerget. Morgenmaden var det største plus, hvor specielt en medarbejder var meget sød.

Lovely hotel and joyful staying
I love this hotel due the nice room and kind staffs. The room was average but the view was stunning. It was old-fashioned room but clean enough to stay. This hotel is close to Peleş Castle so it is easy to access the most important tourist spot. Highly recommend.

Cozy to stay
A very cozy place to stay. It's clean, quiet and inexpensive. The breakfast is quite good. Only few minutes walk to Peles Castle and 15-20 mins walk to downtown. The only thing I don't like is not every staff can speak English and some of them are not helpful. When the WIFI connection didn't work I had to try to find solution by myself, not the staff because she just kept saying "I don't know". I also heard the same feedback from other Asian who stay next to me. The staff's attitude isn't good as she suppose to be.

Great views; quiet location
What I will remember the most from this hotel are the great views and quiet location. Yes, it is a bit of a hike down the hill into the village, but the helpful staff and adequate parking situation makes a most hospitable place to relax.

1 night in Sinaia
We made a last minute booking to stay here and couldn't have been happier. Staff was very friendly and the hotel had large comfortable rooms with an amazing view on the mountains. The only problem is that the hotel name sign was off of the building so it was a little hard to find (had to compare with the photos on Hotels.com) but otherwise couldn't have asked for a better stay for such a cheap price! Also had free parking, wifi, and breakfast.

Nice hotel, but no services, breakfast not enough. I'm vegan and I had nothing to eat. No restaurant for Lunch. Loosing a lot of time for searching a place for eat.

On arrival staff not welcoming just processed checkin. Dining staff friendly, good breakfast, room was dated and although wanted twin room it had a roll way bed set up so lack of room. Phone didn't work to ring reception. for a one night stay it was clean and comfortable bed.

The hotel has a very nice view
We been at this hotel in 2008 we really liked it .The room is big very confortable nice view the only thing is not so good are the bathroom ,the shower is plugged most the time. The personnel are very helpful .

Convenient quiet place
A very convenient place within minutes of walking to Peles Castle. There are a few good restaurants in that area too. Driving is a must to get to the hotel and be prepared for some narrow winding roads... Breakfast is provided, which has the usual spread of hams, jams, cheeses, breads, eggs and cereals. Down side was that the toaster didn't work, but that wasn't a really significant point.
