Pros: Big house with bedrooms spread out, 3 living room areas, hot tub, quiet lovely neighborhood, and the game room above the garage was amazing! There's a heater in there and it warms up the loft well. Cons: the photos from the listing are quite outdated and don't show that this property is getting quite shabby. Was pretty surprised at stains and chunks missing from rugs and mats, stains on couch, other couch literally coming apart at the seams, closet doors coming right off the track, hot tub cover about to disintegrate, marks and scraps all over walls and trim. It's just needing some TLC.Overall though, a great house for a big group and the communication from the property manager was always quick and helpful. ##### Katie M. The next day we asked for a change of sheets, which was acknowledged promptly. However, upon reinspection of the space, we discovered throw pillows still covered in this mysterious substance were thrown back onto the bed, leaving our guests uneasy and discouraging them from wanting to sleep in that room and leaving that room unused during our stay. The sheets that were taken originally from the bed were haphazardly thrown onto the couch into the "movie room" which left that room unused as well.Other than that, the property was as advertised, though obviously a little worn down and in need of a little extra TLC. The house had the right bedrooms for our group. Kitchen/dining/living room space is tight for this size group, which we had read in prior reviews. Our suggestions/concerns are: Overall appearance was a bit run down. The kitchen tablecloth had not been washed, food particles were stuck to it on our arrival. The bathroom sink/shower/toilets were clean, but baseboards either need deep cleaning or repainting, they appear grimy. Several holes in the walls, which should be repaired. One living room chair cushion is misshaped/worn out. These few inexpensive purchases would go a long ways in the kitchen: Oven mitts/potholders, metal cookie sheet, wine glasses (there were a total of 2 small ones), no juice or smaller size glassware. There are about 15 tumblers (16 oz size) which we used for everything. Plenty of coffee cups available. The spindles on the loft railing appear to be wider than code, our 18 month old likely could have fit through the gaps and fallen if not monitored. The bathroom I used (in the lower level) had 1 ply toilet paper only. For the amount of money paid per night, our expectations were higher. We won't return to this property for our next rental. On the positive side, the gift/treat basket in the kitchen is a lovely idea, parking in the garage was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes, the hot tub worked perfectly! ##### Patricia J. The cabin was lovely. It has a woodsy cabin feel. We loved the wood burning stove. The view of the mountains from the hot tub are great! We had 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 9, 10 and 14), and the size of the cabin was good. I don't know that I would want to stay here with more than 8 people. The kitchen space would be a little tight. The location is perfect and it is an easy drive to a lot of ski resorts. We spent 2 days at Copper Mountain which was less than a 15 minute drive. We also spent 2 days at Winter Park which is just over an hour away. (And a fantastic place to ski!) There are also plenty of trails to hike nearby. The hot tub is a perfect way to relax after a busy day! The kids liked the "game room" above the garage, but as stated, it isn't heated, so if its cold, that area is cold. There were plenty of towels- both for showers and hot tub. When we first arrived, there was a nice little treats/essentials basket that was a nice touch! I would definitely stay here again. If I were to be critical, there are a few things in the cabin that need to be fixed or updated. There is a drawer in the kitchen that is broken, the paint on the main level bathroom door and wall is coming off, and the shower head needs some help. (Half the water runs out of the main spicket when you switch it to shower.) Also, the kitchen table needs to go. It's a great size and I love the bar height, but the design has slats in the table and it is impossible to clean. There was definitely crumbs and gunk from previous guests. The kitchen could also use a few nonstick pans. With that all being said, it is still a great place to stay. ##### Jamie G. Common areas were best suited for no more than 7 or 8 people each. Elevated (high top) eat-in kitchen table would seat 8 at a time. The garage was a much-appreciated addition during a week when snow fell every night. The property manager responded immediately to address any concerns or requests we had during our stay. Overall, a nice experience for us in a nice neighborhood with nearby shops and grocery stores. ##### Steve G.
