Honeysuckle Lodge

Take a short stroll to the local cafe and walking track to north facing Silverleaves beach or meander for around 15 minutes along the beach to Cowes main shopping and entertainment precinct.

Inside the unit is snug with comfortable sofas, flat screen tv and dvd player and a reverse cycle split system in the main living area. The kitchen is brand new with a new electric oven and hotplates and dishwasher. There is a medium sized fridge and a microwave. The kitchen is fully self-contained with ample pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

A central dining table completes the living area. There are two bedrooms and the bathroom is combined with the laundry where there is a washing machine, iron and ironing board, laundry trough, wash basin, shower and toilet. There is a lovely deck at the front of the property with room to sit in the sun and relax.

This is a lovely unit suitable for a couple or small family in a great location perfect for family holidays, weekend getaways, or as a base for track events.

Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels.
Alternatively, a link to a local linen hire company will be provided with your booking confirmation.

The actual property is great, location is fantastic, house is good but the agent is useless.

Nothing wrong with the property, the location is amazing….. but the local agent O’Briens are negligent and uncaring. I reviewed the previous feedback and it’s clear that they do not pay any attention. The toilet seat is still broken, there are cobwebs (a lot) and ants everywhere and I mean everywhere, hundreds in my bed (and no I didn’t eat in bed!). I had to follow up the agent a week after booking to find out if it had been accepted (was told they were busy but no apology) and only noticed on the key pick up instructions (emailed a few hours before arrival) that bed linen was not provided. My fault in missing this small but important detail but on picking up the keys was simply told it was on the listing and they didn’t have a clue where I could buy sheets at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Property is great, shame about the agent.

Disappointing It sorted with the keys not easily opening the wire doors. Hard to get in. Flat did not smell fresh. Bought eucalyptus spray to cover odour. Property was filthy, dirty used soap left in shower, mouse poo on kitchen table, had not been vacuumed. Needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Property in a fantastic location, great coffee shop on the corner, very short walk to great family beach.

Lovely spot

This was a lovely little place to stay. We had everything we needed and loved being so close to everything on the island. Especially the cafe a minutes walk down the road... perfect for brunch and coffee.
