We\`re a quick 5 minute walk to Forest Glen Metro Station, hop on the red line metro train and you can be in downtown Washington, D.C. in minutes, exploring all the attractions! The Space: The home is perfect for groups, with lots of room to spread out, and plenty of sleeping options, there are also 3 bathrooms for extra comfort. We can sleep a total of 8 guests in three bedrooms; \- Bedroom 1 - King sized bed \- Bedroom 2 - King sized bed \- Bedroom 3 - Two twin sized beds \- Lower Level bedroom - King sized bed. Enjoy some family time and gather for dinner, there is a large kitchen that comes complete with all of the essentials to whip up a meal, including a full stove, oven, and dishwasher. The living space is bright & open, interactive, and is perfect for groups traveling together hoping to spend some communal time, but still have a slice of seclusion to retreat to after the day\`s festivities. Our lovely house is conducive to decompressing after a day of sightseeing, eating, relaxing, or even getting some work done. Very comfy beds and all of the amenities make this the ideal home base for families or groups coming to visit the city, traveling medical professionals, or just those hoping to take advantage of the city! Driveway included for secured parking. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire unit. It is not shared. The Neighborhood: Silver Spring spring is a wonderfully diverse area, a stone\`s throw from the Maryland / District of Columbia line. Guests can enjoy a suburban-like retreat while having convenient access to the hustle and bustle of Washington D.C. and Downtown Silver Spring. Getting Around: \- We are a 7 minute stroll from the Forest Glen Metro Station, which runs the red line. Guests can be at Union Station, Washington D.C. (the hub of the major sights) in 30 minutes (7 stops). \- The 20 bus can have you in lively downtown Silver Spring in 20 minutes. \- We are a short 20 minute trip (via public transportation) from the Regal Majestic Theater (IMAX), The American Film Institute, and The Fillmore. \- We are a 5 minute walk from Holy Cross Hospital, ideal for medical professionals, or out-patient care. \- There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the house, located at Georgia Ave & Forest Glen Rd. The house was very clean with enough room for everybody. The short walk to the Metro station made traveling to DC very easy and an exciting trip for the grandkids. If we come back for a return trip with young kids we would probably bring a doorway gate to place at the top of the stairs between the dining room snd lower floor to keep young kids from accidentally tumbling down the stairs. I have stated a number of VRBO’s in the past and many of them are not accurate with their pictures. This one was right on. When they say this property can accommodate eight people it easily can.. With four bedrooms one with two twin beds and three with king size beds it was amazing. My family was in town for an event and we were looking for a property that was nearby all the activities and we stumble across this property. Very nice quiet neighborhood beautifully maintained property and wonderful space for the family to coexist together. It was great that this property has three bathrooms with two walk-in showers. Not to mention the basement it has a wonderful bedroom with its own bathroom. Since my mom is older, this was really important as well as my sister wanting her own space to work while she was there.. We feel very lucky that we were able to stay here and look forward to our next visit. We will definitely stay here again. ##### Larry S. It’s nothing fancy, but the place was nice and clean which is the most important thing to us. The neighborhood was nicer than I expected based on the pictures. That was a relief as I was a bit worried that the area would be sketchy. The next time I visit with my family I will stay there. ##### John C. If you stayed down stairs you needed the heat raised on the main floor do then you were very hot there. Hoe do you only have 6 chairs when you say it can sleep 8, we had 7 and we brought a chair from home because I could not believe the lack of places to sit. ##### Gynith F. Clean linens, newly updated kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out on both floors. This location is subway friendly, with an easy walk to the Forest Glen station on the Red Line for a short commute to downtown.
