"Amazing!!! I highly recommend this home!!! I was impressed from the first second on. The first thing I saw was the beautiful pool in the backyard which my children thoroughly enjoyed for hours. Then, I walked through the patio door into the family room; the feel of the space was warm and gravitating. I found the kitchen, family room, dining room, bedrooms and baths exceptionally clean. When you walk out the rear of the house, you have a large, completely private beach. Picture this: dad, mom and two kids, four us, on 60 feet of completely private Atlantic Ocean shoreline! OURS ALONE!!! We spent most of the entire day on the beach, returned later in the evening and stayed until 2 am, admiring the moon and the stars while grilling burgers and hotdogs and sitting around the campfire telling stories and roasting marshmallows for our s'mores. Next evening, we went to the popular boardwalk in Seaside Heights, which is only 5 miles away, and enjoyed the weekly fireworks show and the entertainment on the boardwalk. We made use of the onsite paddle board rentals and lessons from Joanie, our hostess. Joanie treated us like family. Let me also add that it was a big plus that our dog was able to accompany us on our family vacation. Great getaway! We plan to return for many years to come."

"Property was as described. Close to the beach. The neighborhood was extremely feiendly. The wawa is at the end of the block for lunch and breakfasts. It is also a short walk to a great breakfast spot. Came with beach passes along with being close to other activities. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had previously stayed in ocean beach on multiple occasions. This was the first in OB3. This home is in a really cute location. House was super clean and the whole process was very nice! "

" We loved this location, so close to the beach, great restaurants and markets all around. This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood. (You’ll have to drive to get to the boardwalk ). Also, after a small conversation, the owner allowed us to bring our dog. This is not a shiny investor-owned property. It is the home of someone unused to renting and it shows in numerous ways and a professional cleaning crew had to be called in. But once the house was clean and decluttered, we had a good stay. Had I been staying only a few days I would have refused the unit and left, but we were staying for a month. Therefore I put up with the initial angst and we had a great time because of the location. Not all the pictures of this house are accurate. The office bedroom does not have a twin bed, it has a folding rollaway bed, and the side yard does not have the table that is pictured in it. There is a nice gas grill available that is not pictured. Lots of beach towels for use. The listing says bed linens are provided, but I found many unacceptable and had to buy some new. Bring all your own bed linens. Also, you will need bathroom towels and washcloths."

"We had a nice weeks stay with our 2 little doggies! Loved the big deck & stayed out on it most of our time there! Had to let the dogs in midday, because the deck boards do get pretty hot for their paws, then let them back out when cooler later. We loved the view there -wished the dunes were a little lower to see the ocean better. But, standing you can see it, not the waves coming in -but, still a gorgeous view. Loved that table with the tall chairs that we ate most our meals on & the big sectional was really nice to lie out on & soak up the sun! Inside, loved the coastal decorations & wall art everywhere & the chandelier in the dining area too! And the big sliders to always be looking out at the ocean! We cleaned the smudges off the slider windows & my hubby fixed the umbrella to stand up straight b’c it kept falling over. The large sectional in the livingroom was very comfortable for watching tv. The bathrooms & bedrooms were small but still really nice, we liked the bright wall colors! We stayed in the room with the king bed, which was good,b’c we have that at home & are used to having that! Had to learn to do the around the bed ‘shimmy’ though -but, got it down after a night or two! Nice neighborhood & area was close to go to all our favorite places! Walked our dogs at the bay & at the Lavallette boardwalk. And, hosts Joe & Gina were very communicative & helpful during our stay there. Can’t wait to visit again!! Thanks again!! "

"This is the furthest most point out into the Bay on Chadwick Island! You can fish, crab, sun bathe, grill, picnic party or chill right from your own dock. There are plenty of chairs and loungers provided on the deck. The bedrooms are roomy and clean and all of the linens and towels are provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and All-Clad cookware. Honestly, it was a little hard for me to cook eggs and such on All-Clad with stainless steel spatulas. It would have been nice to have some silicone utenciils. The bathrooms were clean, however, the toilets need updated to be ADA compliant. My husband is 6'6" tall and did not like squatting on a low toilet. The owner does provide cooler bags, beach towels, bikes, dog bowls, umbrellas,everything you can imagine etc. There was water damage in the main room and the leather furniture has been worn off. The legs of the checker table have been chewed and the lounge chair was broken when we arrived. This house is gorgeous and needs some updating and attention. Please don't think I am bashing this post. I am just giving an honest review and providing info to the next person. Other than these simple things that can be looked over, the house is AMAZING! It is in the PERFECT LOCATION! And everything that you need to enjoy your vacation is provided by Debbie."

"Kathie was wonderful, very accommodating and flexible. When we needed to extend our stay, she quickly opened up additional dates for us without hesitation. We were in between homes and looking for a short-term rental, and this cottage was the perfect fit. While minimalistic, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d recommend it for one or two guests. It’s a small but charming space. Kathie also checked in via text to make sure everything was going smoothly and kept us informed about important weather updates. She was always easy to reach and a pleasure to communicate with.
